In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

IT TAKES AUBREY SOME TIME TO DECIDE HER NEXT ACTIONS.

"I told you not to listen to Kai. Whatever he has said to make you have second thoughts on getting the thing that literally puts your life in danger out of your body, is a lie." Gemma tells her, "He is incapable of love— unable to show love and receive love. That's who he is and that is what he was created to be. He was a curse to his mother. Hera punished his mother using him, she wanted to kill him while he was in her belly, that is how bad she wanted him gone. She never wanted to give birth to him, so someone like that wouldn't understand love, Aubrey. He is only doing all of this to make you not take out the missing piece."

"You say it that way, but you don't really know anything about him." Aubrey says.

There is silence for the next few seconds as those words leave Aubrey's mouth. Connor clenches his fist, visibly trying to hold back his anger.
