and i am not

LIAM SETTLES INTO THE SEAT, groaning a little which signals he has been injured from the fight with the Chimera. Aubrey doesn't exactly understand the kind of power he holds, neither can she measure it to find out exactly how powerful and destructive he can be. She is aware that the other gods are dangerous and powerful; does she need to be afraid of Liam too? She witnessed the way he fought with the Chimera; he was fast, agile and very strong, he was also fearless— she could see it in his eyes.

However, at the moment, he appears as his usual self and not the god she saw him as about an hour ago. She isn't sure if he is putting on his act to be human or if this is his actual self; calm, collected and responsible. When she raises her eyes to lock gazes with him, she can't help but only see the 17-year-old teenager he appears as even if she knows he is ages away from 17. The gods are good at manipulating people and she is very aware of that now.
