Chapter II - Obsession, Part I

Nevada, USA

As Ezekiel held her, the two end up having an intense exchange of glances, he pulls her closer slowly, still keeping eye to eye, the feeling they both emanated was warm.

It was already late at night, in the city of Jeonju only the artificial lights shone, hiding the beauty of its flora, the runes were empty, the only path to follow was the one illuminated by the streetlamps. In a house, there was an unconscious girl, with her clothes in a terrible state, she was lying on a traditional oriental bed in a simple room, the light in the room was on, as was the rest of the house, apparently there was someone else there too.

Opening her eyes slowly, the girl who was lying down, slowly regains her consciousness, after a few seconds, she was back to her senses again, at first reaction she was startled to observe the place she was in:

Confused and not knowing where she was, she quickly gets up from the bed, and goes towards a closet she had in her room, opening it she comes across some women's clothes that was familiar to her, then she runs towards the window, opened it, she observed her surroundings:

"I'm in Korea? But how..."

Lost in her own thoughts, she doesn't notice that the bedroom door has been opened, another person enters, and approaches slowly trying not to be noticed, when she was already close, with her right hand she supports on the girl's shoulder the window, immediately she has an aggressive response with the fright, an icy aura arises around her body, she quickly turns around taking her hand off her shoulder:

- Uoou calm, calm, Lily, it's me, remember me? - The stranger waved her hands in an attempt to be recognized.

Lily was concentrating on the girl's face, trying to recognize her, when...:

- Yejin...? - With emotion in her voice, she felt an enormous urge to cry.

- Yes, Yejin... Don't tell me you have forgotten me already?

Yejin opens her arms, making a hugging gesture, Lily without a second thought, disables her aura and rushes to hug her tightly:

- Looks like the heart of ice has melted - she said debauchedly to Lily.

The two have a brief moment of reunion, but soon Yejin needs to explain, because for Lily everything was still very confusing:

- Let's do this, take a long bath, rest, tomorrow I'll explain everything to you.

Lily agreed, so her friend left the room to let her rest.

The night went by, soon the sun was rising on the horizon, and a new day began, Yejin was preparing, smiling and humming, a simple breakfast table, when Lily appeared:

- Good morning, Miss Haaron.

The girl with a rather unfriendly expression, answers the greeting:

- Good morning... Yejin...

- Wait - interrupts her - Just "Jin" seems like we haven't even met for over 15 years, what a thing.

- Jin... now you owe me explanations.

- But first, join me - She pointed towards the table.

Having no option, Lily joins in the breakfast, and slowly Yejin tells her what happened, how Lily's sudden appearance, the strange energy that was surrounding her now, explains her step by step:

- Four years ago when that accident happened, well I was in a coma for a year, since I couldn't afford to pay to be treated in a hospital, so I was taken by the DeM company, being an orphan no one would stop me, I was given up for dead. There at DeM they did experiments on me with artificial motus, which resulted in me waking up from the coma... Well, otherwise it's not important... Ah well, now I can also use motus, I can cause illusions in human eyes.

Yejin raises his left arm, especially his hand, for Lily it was an ordinary hand, but slowly the image begins to distort, to the point that in place of an ordinary hand, there was a golden prosthesis, an almost perfect replica of a human hand:

- In the accident, an iron went through my left hand, and they had to amputate it, but at DeM they made this prosthesis for two reasons, the main one is that my body wouldn't be able to manifest all the power of the motus, so I can only manage by this hand, but the world doesn't need to know that right? So I hide it by putting some kind of illusion around it.

Lily for an instant goes into shock, this was too much to digest at once, she spends a few seconds thinking to herself:

- And... when did you come back? - she asked in a fearful tone.

Always smiling, Yejin answers her:

- A year ago, I came here and you were gone. With the spare key, which after all, after years you still leave in the same place? I came here, intending to wait for you and surprise you in your own house, but I didn't know you were traveling, after all, where is Noah?

When she hears her brother's name, Lily remembers her arduous battle against Erebos and how it had ended, then her heart starts to accelerate and beat fast at the thought of the rest of the staff, especially one of them:

- Jin! Answer me, during these days has anything strange been reported that happened in Europe? I think in the North... I'm not sure. - In despair at the question.

That's what was going through Lily's head as she stood up, desperate she runs to her room, causing strangeness in Yejin, in her room the girl was looking for a pendant that she always carries with her, but she didn't find it in the clothes she wore the night before, her friend arrives in the room:

- I have to go to Northern Europe, it doesn't matter which country, but through this region. - she says giving up her search.

She lamented in her own head, in the reveries of her thoughts, and when she noticed that Lily was looking for something, Yejin decided to help her:

Lily took his hand, trusting him. Yejin takes her to the place, it wasn't far from her house, just a few steps in an empty lot:

Lily walks away looking at every inch of the place, when Yejin sees that she was no longer in his sight, reveals hidden by her turtleneck blouse, she pulls out a necklace, and stares at the pendant with a crystal in the center, it was possible to see a smile being reflected on the object.
