Feasting on Eggs for Strength

The Queen was an important figure of the colony. Without a queen, It would be impossible for a colony to strive. So it was natural for her to be treated with great affluence.

As they walked into her breeding ground they could see it was beautiful. There was a gorgeous white platform and golden patterns around the edges. It was quiet, it was meant to be the queen's special place when she did her business.

There was nature all around her. With trees and man-made streams flowing all around.

"Did you make all this?" Jacob asked. "Yes, the Queen kidnapped me for my expertise. She had me build this for her. I was her builder slave" Enroy sounded proud but it turned dreary.

"Where are the eggs?" Joey questioned.

Enroy pointed onto the stone platform to a large bowl-like structure. "The Queen lays her egg into that".

"Why are her eggs left out here?" Jacob didn't think it made sense, these eggs were important. "As I said, the queen rushed out and hasn't come back since. It would normally be impossible for someone to come here other than the Queen. In fact, I have never been here since I made this place." Enroy said matter of factly.

"Your free to do whatever you want not" Jacob left Enroy and made his way over to the bowl filled with eggs.

Enroy was filled with rage from his treatment. "This fool can go ahead and do what he wants, If he touches those eggs the Queen will kill him!.

Jacob did not know what Enroy was thinking. Jacob went up to the bowl, It was about 30 metres wide and 15 metres tall. It was just the right height for the Queen to do her business privately. It was made of pure stone and designed beautifully.

With a jump Jacob dropped his baggage and leapt onto the bowl. Then he gripped into the material and climbed up to the top. Once he reached the top there was enough for him to be able to sit and look down into the bowl.

The bowl was filled with nearly a million eggs. They were not large but they were not small. They were Oval shaped and pellucid.

You could see the figure of the unborn ant already. It looked peaceful.

Jacob slid down into the bowl and came face to face with the eggs. He lifted one and looked at it with great interest. "I wonder what I can do with these things", Jacob thought, After thinking for a little more he held the delicate egg in his hand and said, "Ms Universe, Inspect".

Some purple light flashed and scanned the gg then its information was displayed.

"Well look who decided to be useful for once" Jacob was almost surprised at the usefulness of the system. "Maybe I will be able to forge my body once more. It's at least worth the try" Jacob smelled the egg, but it was odourless. He thought nothing could go wrong and ate it all.

The texture was weird and disgusting, but it had no taste. It wasn't bloody and It was very filling. As the food reached his stomach. The food didn't stay long, It was quickly digested and absorbed into his body.

Jacob felt a lot more things in his boy but he didn't feel like he succeeded.

Jacob saw that his mind went up and quickly thought back to the book of forgings. He recalled a section that recalled a section recalling the use of mentality. He couldn't recall the section word for word but he remembered enough.

"I'm supposed to be able to control things mentally, then I used that power to forge my body" Jacob had it all figured out, but he had no idea he was able to make these kinds of things work. Jacob was slightly frustrated but he got the slight urge to get himself straight then and there.

"Move!" Jacob held another egg in his hand as he tried t control it with mentality. Nothing happened, but he was reluctant to give up. He started shouting like made as he struggled to move the egg from his hand.

"Ms Universe, Is there something that can help me with this?" Jacob asked but there was no response. He now had to depend on himself. Jacob was prepared to spend any amount of time inside the bowl.

"I guess I have to feast on eggs to get strength", He ate each ant's egg one after another. Each ant egg was quickly absorbed by his body. It was like water evaporating on a hot surface and each time he could feel his body get stronger.

He figured out that the ant egg made his mentality stronger. Although he never realized because of how little it went up by. "My body must have enough nutrients to complete at least one forging. If my mentality is strong enough I should be able to use it".

Jacob continued to scarf down the ant eggs one after another. They continued to be instantly digested, The egg was broken down quickly, Jacob's body was not capable of doing this, so he knew it must have been the system.

The nutrients from the eggs went into his bloodstream and into his bones, his crippled muscles, and his brain raising his mentality and his strength. It was an anomaly, Jacob's muscle should never be able to have strength. Most of his power came from him already once forged skeleton.

After some more, he felt it was the right time to try and forge his body.
