Jacob got the quarterstaff which was made out of special hard metals. He took it and pressed it into the bottom of the rock. It was driven into the bottom lowered onto the fulcrum.

This was a gene core that someone gave up for the greater good. It had a high chance of getting destroyed, but seeing a gene core break was very rare.

The strongest people were on the opposite sides and set up like tug of war, while the rest were at the edge. Naturally, Jacob was at the side since he was a 'cripple', but he made sure that everything was in place.

Greg was also sitting out, along with Reia who was watching.

"Alright, Is everything in place?" Reia asked.

"Yes, Everyone needs to push all at the same time. If it's success full then it should roll out the passage" Jacob informed. "Though we  aren't sure what's on the other side, It will be something we worry about later."
