"I agree, You can take my blood, But first, Give the potion." Lily said as she looked at Madam jasmine.

The witch smiled at the young girl and stood up walking towards the long shelves that were hanging on the wall. On the shelves lay the potion bottles.

Lily watched as the woman took her time looking at the bottles before she picked up a bottle that had a blue-colored liquid in it and walked back towards her handing her the bottle.

"How should she use it?" Lily asked, looking at the bottle before she looked up at Madam jasmine.

"She will divide the bottle into two halves, She will drink a half each day, After that, she will be cured, Completely and for good." Madam Jasmine replied and saw the girl nod her head.

Lily held the bottle in her head feeling happy, Finally her attempts to help her friend worked, She can't wait to go back and tell Amila.

"Now, I fulfill my end of the deal, It's time to fulfill yours." The woman said, reminding her.

"Right, You can take my blood, But how will you do that?" Lily asked wondering if Madam jasmine will use a needle to draw out her blood.

"That is nothing you won't need to worry about Because you won't be awake to witness it." Madam Jasmine replied.

Before Lily could do anything, Madam jasmine muttered some words that Lily didn't understand and suddenly she lost consciousness and fell from the chair on the ground along with the bottle that was in her hand.

"Oh dear, You walked into the danger with your own legs, This will teach you not to come to such places, Of course, That if you lived to see that day." Madam Jasmine said as she looked at Lily who was lying motionless on the ground.

"Here, drink some water." Amila's mother said, handing her the glass of water and she did as she was told and drank the water.

But even after she was drunk, The coughing didn't stop. Amila covered her mouth with her hand as she coughed vigorously and when she removed her hand, She saw blood in her palm.

"It's okay dear, Don't be scared, It's just a little bit of blood." Her mother said as she wiped her hand.

That day, Amila couldn't leave the house as her sickness became stronger and took a toll on her body. Her face was pale and her fever was high. The doctor had told them that the infection was spreading in her body and soon it would kill her and there was nothing that her parents could do.

Amila was sleeping when she heard Lily's mother's voice talking to her mother. She seemed to be crying.

"I didn't know. She left the house early in the morning and left a note. She hadn't come back until now. I'm worried that something happened to her." Lily's mother spoke sobbing.

Hearing this, Amila sat up on the bed and looked at the time, past the middle of the night, Where she could have gone too.

"Lily." Alima whispered as she looked outside the window, Hoping that her friend was fine out there.
