Morning came and there was still no news about Lily's whereabouts, The town folks searched for her everywhere, But no one found her.

"Where could she have gone to? Oh Lily, Where are you." Linda cried sobbing loudly.

Amila's mother looked at her husband not knowing what they should do.

Amila, who was resting on the bed, Left the bed and got dressed. If there is a place she could have gone to, it would be that castle.

"Amila, Where are you going?" Her mother asked to see her daughter dressed.

"I know where Lily might have gone too, I need to go there and search for her." Amila said She was burning with fever and coughing, But she couldn't just stay still knowing that her friend might get hurt because of her.

"Amila, You can go out, You can barely stand on your own." Her father said seeing the bad condition that his daughter was in.

"Dad, Please, I can't just stay here, please let me go ahead and find her." Amila pleaded with her father, holding into his hands.

Her parents exchanged a look for a moment before her father replied.

"Alright, I will let you go on one condition, I will go with you." Her father said and she immediately nodded her head.

"Aunty Linda, I promise that I will find and bring her back." Amila said to Lily's mother.

Linda nodded her head and thanked the girl.

After that, Amila and her father left their house heading towards the forbidden land, Lily must have gone there, Maybe she had gone there to ask for their help again.

"Amila, How do you know that Lily has gone there?" She heard her father ask.

Amila suddenly felt guilty when she heard her father's question. It was all her fault. If she had told her mother about what Lily is doing nothing would have happened to her and she wouldn't be missing now.

"Lily went there to find a cure for my disease. She wanted to meet the night creatures. Knowing the power that they possess and that they can cure my condition easily, I told her many times to stop and that there is no use. She refused and I... " Amila paused, wiping her tears.

"I know it's my fault, But I didn't know that something would happen to her." She continued as she turned to look at her father with her eyes that were full of tears.

"It's not your fault Amila." Her father tried to comfort his sick daughter.
