14 The Lee’s go outing; Jezebel’s challenge

In the other world, the Lee's went outing by the beach. Josh, Suzy, Evan, Yuri, along with baby Michael, Zen, Ellie, Eleanor, and David, were playing beach ball.

Aaron and Isabella sat, facing the sea. Sunlight was bright. They wore sunglasses; they, too, were introspecting.

She was so caught up by the beauty of the sea that she seemed to have ignored her surroundings including Aaron who was looking at her. How he admired her strength and beauty. She had been a great mother, a great wife—company, friend. Then, Isabella became aware that Aaron was looking at her. Tenderly, she kissed his lips.

Suddenly, she noticed a woman like her age stood from not afar, looking disdainfully at the two of them. She had a hint that this woman must be Jezebel or somebody else who stood for Jezebel. She was correct. The woman raised her right hand, commanding the sky to dim, and the sky darkened, and was filled with nimbus clouds; then, the wind howled.

Isabella was not perturbed. She knew that Jezebel had come back. She looked down as Aaron looked at her; she wasn't moving for a few minutes. Then, the sky opened up slowly as the thick dark clouds drifted away; sunshine came back as the children went on playing. When she looked for the woman, she was gone.

Josh and Suzy invited their parents to join in their games. The two readily accepted. They sprinted one-hundred, two-hundred, and four-hundred meters. Their spirits were filled with joy as they raced with their children, finding themselves laughing uncontrollably.

It was almost four in the afternoon when the family decided to pack up. They used two cars to accommodate all of them. Suddenly, on their way home, the sky, again, darkened, and the wind howled for the second time. Josh, Suzy, Evan, and Yuri looked at each other. They were frightened. Mom and dad were in another car, along with baby Michael and Zen. They were tailing mom and dad's car. David hurriedly pressed the brake pedal; they all thought that there was a storm coming. Suddenly, a woman—although this was a different woman from the one she saw a while ago—appeared in front of the car looking straight at her. It was Bella. Isabella kept still inside her car. Their eyes locked, Isabella didn't know for how long. Then, the sky opened, and the wind stopped. The woman disappeared.

"I thought there was a storm," uttered David to his surprise. He then pressed the gas and off, the car sped on the road. Josh drove the other car.
