Chapter 9

I woke up early because I had to go to school at this time, we had practice at 8 am in the morning at gymnasium.

I immediately looked at these grassy looking man next to me who is still snoring in his ass. I looked the time, it was half past five in the morning. I woke up to get ready and get to school before eight o'clock.

I prefer to make fried rice and fry hotdogs, I will also cook noodles for soup somehow.

I was frying a hotdog when my cell phone rang.

"Hello," I began as I answered the call.

"Hello, good morning," whispered the person on the other line.

Is... Is this Clash?

I was shocked when I looked at my cell phone, the number was unregistered so I didn't know it was Clash,

Oh gosh, Ria! You haven't said good morning.

And I haven't saved his number yet!

"Clash?" I asked him to make it sure that it was really him.

"Yeah? I'm going to pick you up," he simply whispered.

What? Is he really going to pick me up? Heheheh

I smiled harder.

"What? Ah no need," I felt the redness on my face when I said that.

Although thrilled, I decided to stop screaming because the grassy man laying on the bed will get disturb.

Very sleepy amp!

"I would have liked to come in with you," he said without emotion.

I'm happy but I was a little sad to think that he was just doing this to get Cheriejoy back to him.

Sad...

"Ah, don't, I'm still going somewhere. I still have to do something before going to school,"

"No, I'm fine. I'll just accompany you wherever you go. Will you send me your address?" he insisted.

"All right,"

I did nothing but to give him my consent. I sent him the address of the apartment where I was staying. This grassy man probably isn't here either when Clash's arrive, so probably Clash won't think anything bad because of letting a man to sleep in my apartment.

Wait? Will he think of that? He doesn't care about you, Ria!

What? ‘Don’t be so hard on yourself, and let's just hope that Clash really get mad if I let someone slept with me.

When I finished frying, I followed cooking noodles. I looked at the clock again, it was six o'clock.

I'll let this grassy looking man to get more sleep because it's already late when we rested last night.

I immediately finished cooking the noodles and went into the rest room to take a bath.

I can’t help but wonder why Clash still needs to use me to get Cheriejoy back. But I couldn't understand myself why I agreed even though I would be hurt.

I scratched my head because of my stupid decision that I could not regret.

“So I went to St. Cavendish University for Clash, I have nothing to regret,” I whispered to myself.

I then remembered how I worked hard year after year to take the exam just to be a scholar at that school.

"Riaaaaa! I heard that the requirements for the scholar exam offered by SCU are open! Why don't you try?" Star's poor explanation, she chased me from inside the campus we were entering up to here at the bus station.

Star has been my friend since high school. She is dependable and very kind even if they are capable in life.

"Really? How did you find out?" a wide smile formed in my face.

“I heard Ma’am Pincol telling it to Mommy," she said.

Her mom is one of the professors at the university we attend.

"Okay! What are the requirements, then?" I was excited to ask Star.

"Here!" At the same time, he handed me a small piece of paper.

"I wrote that to give you! I want your dream to come true," she whispered with a smile.

I couldn't help myself and hugged her.

"Even when you're a bit crazy Star, I'm very lucky with you." I said and hugged her even tighter.

"Don't call me Star, maybe someone will hear you HAHAHA! That 'Star' reduces the beauty of my name." she whispered and gently pushed me away as if sulking because I called him by his nickname.

"Okay Okay, AMBER STAR!" I laughed and emphasized his name.

I stopped remembering the past when I heard the constant knocking on the door of the comfort room.

"Oh why?" I said rudely.

"Le-t m-me i-in." he said with difficulty.

"Why? What happened? Wait!" I said in a panic.

I wrapped the towel around my body and opened the door.

He immediately entered the rest room even though I hadn't come out yet. He went straight to the toilet and vomited a lot.

"What happened to you?" I try to calm myself down.

I approached him and gently stroked his back to help him get out what he was vomiting.

What's going on?

As he finished, he started walking and as I followed this grassy man, I saw him laying again on the bed.

I immediately finished my bath and hurried out. I found him still lying down, I approached and gently tapped his shoulder to wake him up but...

He is very hot.

"Hey? Are you okay? You're too hot." I whispered, sat on the edge of my bed and reach his neck.

"Sheep! Why is your fever so high?" I added. I took a blanket I used last night and doubled it with the blanket on his body.

It's seven o'clock, I need to leave. We still have practice and Clash will pick me up.

What will I do?

"I'll spoon some food first and then I'll wake you up so we can eat and you can take medicine," I said even though I wasn't sure if he could hear me.

I got up and started preparing the food. I also brewed coffee, because I don't have milk here.

Then I was in a hurry to wake him, I knew Clash was coming.

"Hey you have to wake up." I barely tapped him.

"Hmm?" he spoke softly, slowly rolling his eyes.

"You're awake, let's eat." I said, holding him in both arms to help him to sit up.

"Sheep! You're so hot," I added when I felt his fever was still high.

He barely clung to my arm. I thought he will hold me so that he could sit, but it wasn't. He pulled me closer to him instead.

"Wa-wait m-my p-phone is ringing" I tried not to stutter because of our situation but I was disappointed.

But instead of releasing me, he pulled me again and he deliberately put me on top of him then hugged me tightly.

I was about to push him when the door suddenly opened.

"Ria? I went in because you didn't answer—"
