ARRIVING AT THE PALACE

After travelling quite a distance on a rocky and muddy road, the carriage carrying Albert and Catherine entered a large and tall iron gate. The gate opened as their carriage reached in front of it.

Albert's eyes paid attention to every detail of the building on either side. The palace they entered had several roofs that pointed upwards. At the four corners, there are tall round buildings as lookout towers.

Their carriage seemed to divide a beautiful garden with beautiful flowers. The expanse of green grass, on the right and left of the road, they passed. Albert saw a magnificent building with a large U-shape. The walls of the palace have hundreds of windows lined up, so that sunlight can enter perfectly.

This place was a far cry from Albert's castle, which seemed stiff, cold, damp, and dark. It's just that it was there that Albert was born. He felt at home and comfortable in his castle. What's more, Annabelle accompanied him there.
