SOMETHING INCOMPREHENSIBLE

Alice woke up in Vincent's arms. Alice's response was unlike before, which was rebellious as the man embraced her. Alice's lips smiled, remembering how Vincent picked her up and carried her to the room when she found out that she was sick.

After all, Vincent was currently wearing a full nightgown, so it didn't make Alice so nervous.

"How are your feet?" Vincent asked in his husky voice, his tone returning to its usual coldness. Hearing Vincent's unfriendly tone, Alice immediately moved away from the man's warm body.

"You're awake? I'm sorry for bothering you last night," Alice said, not answering Vincent's question.

"I don't feel bothered. That could be an excuse for me to leave the boring party," Vincent replied.

Hearing that reason, there was a slight pain in Alice's heart. It turns out Vincent helped her just as an excuse to avoid the party. Even so, Alice kept her expression as normal as possible. It doesn't look like she's in pain right now.
