QUEEN ANNABELLE'S ACTIONS

"Wait here, I'll see Natalie," Vincent said to Alice.

Their carriage stopped at an inconspicuous dining area. It seemed like Vincent had already messaged Natalie for them to meet here. Alice just stared at Vincent's back as the man walked away and left her.

Alice sat at the far end of the room, squeezing her fingers. She had mixed feelings, between anger, disappointment, and confusion about what to do.

Vincent sat at a table with two chairs. Not long after Vincent sat down, a woman with fiery red hair and clothes different from British people like herself entered the diner.

The woman's eyes swept across the diner in front of her, looking for someone. After her eyes caught and found the person she was looking for, the woman smiled and walked over to Vincent.

"Hello, My Lord. How are you? Congratulations on your marriage, you must be very happy with your marriage," Natalie said sarcastically.

"What do you mean?" asked Vincent.
