Falling into darkness

"Everyone will betray you," Sly whispered in his ear. It was night and all had retired to their rooms to rest. Landon turned around on the bed, trying to ignore the voice of the ghost. "For every small thing they blame you, so why are you on their side," Sly asked.

Landon opened his eyes, Sly had a point. After everything that he had been through why was he still on their side. They blame him for every thing that goes wrong and at the end of it he still forgives them.

"Why do you choose love in a land full of hatred and darkness?" Sly questioned him.

Everybody had a price, lies mattered more than the truth. Even when he was not in the wrong he was still branded the villain.

Lysander had ruined most of his life and took so much from him. Even then no one did anything to him and when it was him, they all had something to say.
