The Monster I Don't Remember

Lee Seng watched through the cracks as the monster Creator threw Mom into the other wall. Mom grunted as she landed on the ground, knocked out. 

'Mom!' Lee Seng screamed in his head. The memory had taken over. Lee Seng could feel his tiny body shake in fear. He let out a sharp breath which caught the ears of the monster. The monster turned as little Lee Seng tried to run. His body wouldn't move. Broodmother swooped in and wrapped Lee Seng and pulled him into one of the cabinets. The door ripped open, landing in the hallway as a ragged breath came out of the monster's mouth. Broodmother had somehow managed to get the little Lee Seng into the cabinet in under a second! 

'How did she do that?' Lee Seng wondered. 'Did this… really happen back then? I-I thought—'
