Maximus closed his eyes and crashed onto the floor. He looked at the message and smiled in satisfaction.

The screen changed and the rewards appeared,

Reward 2: One Random Spin Wheel Ticket.

A white light surrounded him and all his Fatigue vanished like smoke.
'Woah! I thought it would take a long time to recover, but Instant recovery?'
Maximus excitedly thought that he hit the jackpot by picking up that crystal and went to the Inventory and grabbed his TIcket.
[Detected Random Spin Wheel Ticket, would you like to use it?] (Y/N)
Maximus quickly replied,
"Yes"
A familiar scene occurred and when the wheel stopped,
[Congratulations, you have received one toothbrush.]
Maximus's expression crumbled, he glared at the screen and while still holding a bit of expectation he retrieved the toothbrush.

A regular toothbrush. It is recommended you use it daily.

"It really IS a Toothbrush!"
He threw the brush in the Inventory and opened his 'Status'

After collecting his rewards although he was feeling fresh he forced himself to go to sleep so that he could get up early. He already had a plan in his mind. His goal was the Adventurer Academy recruitment in a month. He would work hard and leave the rest to fate.

Maximus wiped the sweat on his forehead and looked at the screen in satisfaction,

A white light enveloped him recovering his fatigue and bringing him back to his peak state.
He then retrieved the Ticket and did a little prayer and started at the spinning wheel without blinking,

"Yes!!"
Throughout the month, he had barely received anything useful from the Random Wheel Spin. In total, he only received 9 Mana Crystals including this one. The reason he was so excited was, with this Mana crystal he would break through the Advanced Core Formation Stage and reach the Peak Stage.
Without wasting any time he quickly activated his 'Active Skill: Meditation' and started absorbing the mana in the crystal
After 20 minutes,
Crack.
The Mana Crytal turned to dust but, Maximus had an excited expression,
"Peak of Core Formation Stage..."
The Core formation is an important Stage in the path of Cultivation. In this Stage, Mana is condensed in the heart, and a crystal is formed within. True Cultivation only begins when one reaches the Peak of Core Formation and one's Core had been fully formed. With the formation of the core comes the most important step of 'Awakening'.
After Core formation, the Awakening Stage where one Awakens their Elemental Affinity is considered the most important Stage. It decides which path one would take in the future.
After reeling in his excitement, Maximus habitually called up his Status

Maximus could not help but sigh when he saw his stats. The reason he did not use the stat points was in order to increase his perseverance skill. If he added stats to strength then the Daily Quest would have gotten easier and his Perseverance skill wouldn't have reached Level 2 in such a short period of time.

He also got a new Skill after a week of Running.

Maximus frowned, and then sighed,
'Well, I won't be getting any more free stats now, huh?'
He knew that it was bound to happen someday but he did not think it would happen so soon.

Maximus was surprised by the generous rewards,

Maximus excitedly checked the inventory and saw that there was a new item in one of the slots.
He retrieved the Blue Cube and looked at the description

"An Instant Dungeon?"
He vaguely remembered that an Instant Dungeon had something to do with defeating monsters.
When he thought about Monsters, the Image of the Horned rabbit came to his mind and a chill went down his spine.
"What kind of reward is this?"
Maximus had a bitter smile on his face, but he quickly recovered and clenched his fists.
"I can never become an Adventurer if I don't overcome this"
He put away the Cube and checked the third Reward.
The Skill Totem looked like Mysterriois Inscriptions floating in space. When he retrieved it, the Totem turned into smoke and entered his body through his nose. He could feel an unknown energy well up in him.

Maximus's eyes went round when he saw the mana requirement so high. But when he read the description of the skill.
'Hmm.. Although it takes a lot of mana, I now have something that could possibly save my life.'
He had more confidence to do the Instant Dungeon with this Skill.
'Now I have to do that..'

Maximus pictured himself fighting a desperate battle where he was injured and forced to use Regeneration.
'In the dungeon, I would probably have to use regeneration once and then I would be able to use Sprint for 1 min before I run out of Mana.'
'So I'll have to finish the fight in 1 minute huh?'
Maximus was tempted to add more points but stopped himself,
'I'll decide after adding points to others stats'

Suddenly, he felt the whole world moving a bit slower, whenever he concentrated on something like a bird flying in the sky, he saw it flying in slow motion.
"So, Agility makes me perceive everything slower huh?"
"It could also mean to others I just might be moving faster."
'I should probably focus on Agility more.'
He still remembered his time in the Penalty zone. If he had more Agility at that time he might have dodged the Horned Rabbit's attack.
He decided to first check the Sense stat and then decide his preferential order.

He suddenly felt he could see farther, he could even hear sounds through the wall and feel the presence of his neighbor.

Lastly, he guessed that Vitality increased his HP, but he decided to hold on to that as after seeing the effect of Agility, he thought that if he could Dodge more then he wouldn't need to have high HP. His HP also increased when his strength increased, so he decided to focus mainly on agility, and Strength. So, based on the importance he should focus on Agility > Strength > Sense > Intelligence> Vitality.
After some thinking,

Maximus nodded feeling satisfied with himself.
'Now before I deal with the dungeon Cube..'
He went out for a jog and as expected everything was easier, with almost double his previous strength and Agility he did not even break a sweat finishing the exercise. It also helped him adjust to the sudden increase in strength.
When he tried doing pull-ups he almost bent the bar when he used his strength.
After getting used to the newfound strength he reached home and realized that tomorrow was the day Adventurer's Academy started recruiting.
After taking a shower he stood in front of the shower, shirtless, and looked at his reflection.
His once scrawny body had gained muscles, his shoulders became broader and he even grew taller. Most noticeably his face gained some definition and his jawline became more prominent, making his average face a bit more handsome. Added together with his purple eyes he could definitely be considered to have a handsome face.
After admiring himself for a while Maximus had something to eat, sat on his bed, and took out the Dungeon Cube.

Maximus looked at the Missions that all read 'Kill' and was left speechless. Although he knew that being an Adventurer was a dangerous job and he would need to kill at some point. He was still uncomfortable at the thought of taking a life.

He looked at the message, steeled his heart, and replied in a serious tone.
"Yes"
The space distorted in front of him and he got sucked in.

When Maximus came to, he realized he was in a Mountain range. There was also a forest nearby, the sun was high up in the sky and it was pretty hot. The first thing he did was find a secluded place and opened his Inventory.
He put his hand in and took out a blade.

This is the best weapon he got from the Random Wheel Spin. After equipping it he felt more confident in what he was about to do and used and his Sense to find the so-called goblins.
