Berserk Goblin Lord
The Goblin Lord turned around and glared at Maximus with a crazed look. His muscles were bulging and his whole body was covered in a red aura.
"ROAR!!"
Boom!
The Goblin Lord leaped forward and reached Maximus in an Instant. He brought his ax down with a ferocious expression.
Accompanied with the bone-chilling sound of wind parting ways, the Axe came down straight at his head.
Clang!
Boom!
Maximus managed to block the ax but the power was so intense that he was sent flying and crashed into a tree.
"Wah!... spit..."
Maximus spat out blood and slid down from the tree.

Maximus stood up and glared at the Goblin Lord, he then noticed his blade was cut in half, causing him to frown.
"Tsk!"
He kept the broken blade in the inventory, he might need it soon.
He thought about using Regeneration but then he thought it would be a waste to use it when he had around 60% HP.
'That Bastard is stronger than me but I am.."
"..faster!"

The Goblin Lord was enraged that he seemed unharmed, it roared and charged forward and swung his ax down again.
Maximus was prepared this time and evaded it towards the right,
Boom!
he then materialized the broken blade in his left hand, holding it in reverse, he did a 180-degree spin with his right foot pivoted and slammed the blade right into the Goblin Lord's left temple.
Splash!
"Roar!"
The Goblin Lord roared in pain, he swung his left hand and swatted Maximus like a fly. Maximus wanted to dodge but everything happened too fast

'Damn it... how can he be alive after taking a blade in his head?'

Maximus felt his vision turn blurry,
'I should have used the damn Regeneration skill before!'
He could feel several of his bones broken and organs smashed.

A white light enveloped him and some of his broken ribs and organs got fixed. But, the Injury was so heavy that it would take some time to recover completely.

If he had used the Regeneration skill before, he would have recovered most of his HP. It was pretty ineffective using it now as he wasn't even fully healed.
'I don't think I can fight that monster. Shit! I might even die here...'
Just as he was regretting his stupid decision.

He looked at the screen in a daze.

It had been 4 minutes since he activated Regeneration and it was slowly healing his injuries. He then bought 5 HP and 5 MP Potions, for an emergency. He then checked how much gold he had remaining,

He thought for a bit and decided to buy some equipment, he clicked on equipment and the screen showed all sorts of armor and weapons.

He kept it in the Inventory and took out the cloak, It was a black cloak and fit him perfectly. it also had a hood that could help him hide his Identity. He thought for a bit and visited the shop again,

He sighed seeing his remaining gold, but in order for his plan to work, he needed to buy these.
He wore his equipment and surprisingly did not feel any discomfort, he jumped around and after getting used to the added weight he put them in the Inventory, just as he was about to leave the Dungeon.
He noticed a red glow floating on top of the Goblin Lord,
"Huh?"
He quickly went towards the Golin Lord body and saw a familiar complicated pattern floating above the body, it was glowing red and looked mysterious
Maximus immediately recognized it,
"A Skill Totem!"
He could not help but become excited, he touched the Totem and it disintegrated into red smoke and entered through his nose. He felt a familiar power well up in him just like when he received his Regeneration skill.

Maximus appeared in his room the next Instant. The first thing he did was check the time.
'5:06 am'
Maximus sighed in relief he had been in the dungeon for about 9 hours and he still had about an hour before he had to get ready for the Adventure Academy recruitment. The Academy was in the Capital and it was pretty far. It would take him 4 hours to reach if he took the train. He had already informed his parents, and they supported him telling him to not worry about the results and not to push himself too much. The recruitment exam was pretty tough and injures were pretty common.
'The trains at 7 am I should probably get some sleep till 6 am'
Although his fatigue was zero his mind was pretty tried from all the fighting so he decided to take a small nap.

Maximus woke up hearing the alarm, with his strong Vitality and Intelligence, he did not need much sleep to get in his Peak condition.
He quickly got ready and headed out.

The Journey was pretty boring. The Train was pretty crowded and he even saw some familiar faces but, nobody recognized him. He had changed so much in this past month that he was almost a different person from before. He had nothing else to do so he decided on checking his rewards.

Maximus started at the screen in a daze. Just what was he supposed to do with an Egg!? Sit on it? The Egg was bigger than his head, he wasn't gonna risk his ass for anything.
But, in his heart, he was beyond excited as it is the first time he received an item with a 'Rarity: A'.
The Egg was completely black with scales instead of a shell. Maximus guess whatever was inside would be pretty strong when it grows up.
After playing around with it for a while, he did not get any clues on how to hatch it, so he put it away in his Inventory.
He then checked the last reward and a Golden Totem materialized in front of him.
