Brayden had been driving for some time and was getting closer to Schaumburg. Meredith was staring out the window trying not to think of anything at all. Brayden hadn't asked for directions or even where they were going. That wasn't surprising to Meredith. She assumed he knew her parents lived in Schaumburg because he had a file on her. And he probably knew where they were going to eat because…well, because he knew everything.

Suddenly a thought came to Meredith's mind. The first night they were married she had tried to google Brayden and learn about him but that didn't get her much information. Brayden had used his personal assistant to dig up everything on Meredith. He probably even knew what kind of soap she used.

She realized she had gone about obtaining her information the wrong way. Since she was Mrs. Maxwell maybe that meant Brayden's personal assistant would work for her and give her a detailed file all about Brayden's secret hobbies.
