Chapter 28 Sera and the Toy Soldier

As Sera began to walk around she had no idea on how to recruit people to join their cause of fighting against their own King. That thought simply makes her think of the World Government's interference in supporting the false prince from her own country and overthrowing the king. She also didn't know where to start. Everywhere she looked, she saw several people and toys interacting happily. Even though She knew about Sugar's ability to turn people into toys, Paul only mentioned that it was only towards the criminals who disobeyed the law there. She understood why knocking out sugar is part of the key plan, but she didn't understand why. The people turned into toys are nothing but evil criminals.

She continue to walk around looking for any clues until she saw Vlad walking with a small one legged toy soldier with 3 Kung-Fu dugongs following behind the two.

She walked towards them and asked, " Hey Vlad, what's going on? Why are you following this toy soldier?"

Vlad nodded towards her and said, " While I was trying to find SMILE factory, I saw this toy soldier that seemed as if he had his own mind. Before we departed, Paul had told me to look out for any toys that seems to act irregularly and to ask that toy for directions... so I did just that."

Kung-Fu Dugongs: "Osu."

Sera nodded at the Kung-Fu Dugongs and then said: " Uh okay, if that's what Paul said."

Toy Soldier: " Vlad is she one of your crew?"

Vlad: " Yes."

Sera: " Hey toy soldier, tell me something, our captain told us that most toys here are nothing but evil criminals that disobeyed the law and then was turned as what they are now. Is that true or not?"

Toy Soldier: "... That is nothing but a lie... Come with me."

The two followed the Toy soldier into a back alley.

The Toy Soldier looked around and checked the area for any potential eaves droppers and the looked at the two, " I can't allow you to destroy the SMILE factory... not until I save the workers there."

Sera: " Workers? Why should we be concern with people that are working for Doflamingo."

Toy Soldier: "... Are you guys truly here to take down Doflamingo? He... He is a strong opponent to face and have several strong individuals working for him."

Sera and Vlad looked at each and then at the Toy Soldier, " Yes, we are here to take him down."

The Toy soldier took a deep sigh as he said, " Then first let me tell you the history of this country as well as the horrific acts of of the man Doflamingo."

The Toy soldier began telling the two about the history of Dressrosa and its previous king to now Doflamingo. He also told them about the Tontatta Kingdom that were the 'fairies' that the common people talked about and how they were also preparing to fight against Doflamingo.

After a brief moment a silence, the two slowly took a deep brief from the large amount of information that they obtained. The two grew enraged at the acts of Doflamingo and looked at the other toys differently.

Sera punched the ground hard as she grit her teeth, " That Paul... I'm sure he must've known all this. That's why he told you to look for an irregular acting toy." She looked at the toy soldier and said, " Hey, take us to go see the other people that are fighting against Doflamingo. We also have our plan on taking him down and we can formulate a plan together."

Toy Soldier: "... alright then, follow me."

The two followed him as the Toy Soldier let them far north from the Dressrosa and reached a bridge with iron bars that reached high up.

Toy Soldier: " Be careful of the fighting fish that come up from time to time to attack anyone that walks on the bridge. They are quite strong."

The three walked onto the bridge when several large dark sea fishes with horns came flying out of the water and towards them. Sera and Vlad leaped into the air as they kicked the fishes back into the water in one hit.

Toy Soldier: " Impressive."

The Toy Soldier nodded as he approved and noticed their strength. The strength that the two showed him gave him slightly more confidence in their battle against Doflamingo.

The three continued to walk down the bridge and arrived at the other end where there was a large forest with several large plants.

Toy Soldier: " This is green bit, where the Tontatta kingdom is located underground. There we will formulate a plan and initiate it immediately."

Sera: " I understand, but before that, I would like to call my crew mates here too since they could also help out."

Toy Soldier: " I understand, please do."

Sera pulled out her den den mushi and called Robin. 'brr' 'brr' 'katcha', " Hello Robin are you there?"

Robin: " Yes its me."

Sera: " Robin, we got vital information about the island's history and some of the forces that are planning on attacking Doflamingo. Come to our location so that you can listen on into their plan too."

Robin: " Okay, I understand we will come right away." 'katcha'

Sera: " Okay Toy Soldier, lead the way."

Toy Soldier: " It's right this way."

The Toy Soldier led them deeper into the forest and down a passage large enough for humans to fit through. Sera and Vlad saw numerous small people, no bigger than the size of a large adult's palm.

???: " Commander, have you come back already. Who are the people following behind you?"

Toy Soldier: " Hello Leo, the people that I've brought with me are also here to take down Doflamingo and bring back the former leader King Riku."

Leo: " Oh okay so they're good people."

Toy Soldier: " Yes. Their other friends will also be coming to hear the plan. With their help we can speed up our plans by three years and free this kingdom from Doflamingo's hands."

Leo: " Really? Are they that strong?"

Toy Soldier: " Yes, we will wait for the rest of their friends to come so we can explain the plan in full detail."

Leo: " Okay."

When Sera saw them, she grew a little soft as she saw their pure heart and actions that seems childlike. However, it was also because of this side of them that Sera became angry as Doflamingo's actions cause even them to stand up and fight.

Sera came up to Leo and the others, " Leo, I'm Sera. Did you know that my captain is even more stronger than me and my friends. Doflamingo would lose against my captain once they fight."

Leo's eyes brightened up, " Really? Wow that's amazing. Can't wait until your friends come so we can start the plan already. Doflamingo... he has kidnapped our princess too so we have to act quickly or else something bad may happen to her."

Sera: " Really, then we better hurry once the plan starts."
