Chapter 36 Supa Hero

Daz: " Enough of this, come out of there and face me yourself. This fight is going nowhere. Are you not a swordsman? Come and fight me yourself, you coward."

Pica: " Hmph. You think you can take me on."

Just as Pica was coming out of the ground, he went back in.

Pica: " We'll put our battle on hold for now. There's an annoying king causing trouble."

When Daz heard Pica talk about a king, he knew that Pica was talking about King Riku. He immediately looked back to the platform where King Riku was staying at. He saw a giant stone figure of Pica slowly making its way to King Riku.

Daz immediately started running towards the Giant Stoned Pica while trying to think of a plan. Daz could indeed fly but he was not a natural at it like Paul and the others and he hasn't been training in this aspect for long and mainly worked on his swordsmanship, so if he does try to fly/geppo/skywalk then he won't be able to reach Pica in time. Daz had been warned ahead of time that Pica's devil fruit would be annoying the giant figure pretty much sums it up. Not to mention how much strength it would take to cut it down, the mess it will create will be trouble.

While running and thinking of what to do he saw Elizabello ll and the rest of the injured fighters looking over at Pica. He saw Elizabello ll charging up his punches.

Just as he finished charging up his punches he said, " Finally, I made it in time and didn't use this punch before hand. Now I can save my friend King Riku."

Daz: " Wait, don't use it yet. It's useless because he can always go back into the stone and regenerate his body like that. I have to get over there and deal with the real body to end this. I just need to figure out how to get there quickly."

Elizabello ll: " All right young man. I'll trust you to save my friend King Riku."

Orlumbus: " Young man, I may be able to help you with that. Although I have a move that isn't really suited to be used on humans, it should be able to send you all the way to Pica."

Daz: " Perfect, I appreciate it."

Orlumbus came to Daz's side and lifted him up.

Daz: "..."

Being carried by another man was a little awkward for Daz but since the the situation was urgent, Daz ignored it.

Orlumbus: " Killer Bowling!"

'Swish' Daz was sent flying through the country as he soared through the sky. Getting closer and closer to Pica, time seems to have stopped as he remembered a particular conversation with Paul.

Daz: " Paul... I don't know how to advance my devil fruit, I feel like it is too limited."

Paul: " That may be true in some cases, but since I am not a swordsman and have no idea how to use a sword, I can only tell you that I find interesting."

Daz: " What would that be?"

Paul: " Have you ever wondered why a those famous swords wielded by those powerful swordsman such as Dracule Mihawk are called black swords/blades?"

Daz: " I don't know. I have never encountered that level of person or swordsmanship."

Paul: " A blade blade will be forged when the user exerts all of their will into the blade. Although you don't use a sword, your devil fruit can change your body into a sword making you a sword yourself, no? Food for thought Daz, food for thought?"

Daz approached flew closer and closer and said in a low voice, " Whether it be a giant made of stone or diamond!!" Daz covered his entire body with a haki and started spinning, " Whatever comes before me, I will turn in into nothing but atoms!"

As soon as Daz came close enough several sword energy slashes flying everywhere tearing up the stone giant into pieces from head to toe. When Daz stopped his attacks, he looked up as rocks continued to fall down and saw a large figure holding onto a sword that is just as big as him.

Pica: " Damn you, interfering. I got the high ground now. Before I finish of King Riku, I will deal with you first."

Daz: " Hmph."

Daz just looked at Pica in contempt. Pica is still arrogant after seeing that badass move? Although it did take quite a bit out of him, he was still ready to go.

Daz leaped upwards as he once again coated himself in haki and crossed his arms. Pica also coated himself in haki and used his large sword and jumped downwards towards Daz.

'clang' Only a brief encounter occurred when the two clashed and bypassed each other. 'splurt' Pica's chest sprouted with blood as his haki wasn't strong enough and fell to the ground.

Daz: " Elizabello now is your chance!!"

At first Elizabello ll and the others were speechless and had gaping mouths as they saw Daz take down the stone giant and finally taking out Pica in mere moments as Pica was about to destroy King Riku, ELizabello ll shook his head and smiled as he brought his fist forward and yelled, " Kiiiinnngg Puunch"

Elizabello sent out a strong punch that was just filled with power and energy. Everywhere the energy went, everything was swept away by the punch. All the debris that was falling down due to Daz's attack was blown to the edge of the bird cage and no longer falling on the citizens.

Daz slowly controlled his descent when landing on a ground by King Riku and the others.

Robin: " Daz... Thanks for saving us and good job on taking down Pica."

Daz gave her a slight smile as he laid down in exhaustion as he stared up at the birdcage that was slowly starting to shrink. Going all out like that used up a great amount of strength and haki.

Daz: " Paul have to hurry up and beat Doflamingo, this cage is suffocating."

Robin: " Yeah, knowing Paul's strength, if Doflamingo doesn't have a hidden weapon or secret technique then Paul's going to end this quickly."

Sera and Vlad soon arrived not long after.

Sera: " Daz what should we do next? Help Paul so we can quickly end this bird cage thing?"

Daz got up and looked at the sky. He closed his eyes as he sensed the several voices that were screaming in sadness and anger. Although his observation haki level isn't as high as his armament haki, he could still sense the emotions of regular people. " No, Paul could handle doflamingo on his own. What we should do is prioritize on helping these people get to safety. Since King Riku had already made an announcement to head to the center of the country, all we need to do is help out the elderly and the injured."

Sera: "Alright, since we've already beaten all of the executives and officers of the Donquixote family, then we can all go and help. Robin let's go."

Robin: " Yeah, let's hurry."

As Sera and Robin rushed off Daz and Vlad also took off to another direction.
