Chapter 1

Hair as black as the midnight sky and as long as a mountain,

Skin as fair as the pure white snow and unblemished like a new born babies,

Eyes as green as a full forest and as wise as an ancient elder

Leah POV:

"How did I get myself into this mess?" I thought as I sat in a yellow cab. My sister and I were told that we were heading to a family friend of the church, for Seiji, my adopted father, was going to be out on business for a long time. You see, Yui, my adopted sister, isn't the easiest person to get along with. She always plays the innocent role and gets me in trouble. She would constantly break items at the church and then blame it on me. However, she gets away with it for she is "the churches most faithful believer". I don't believe it. If a god existed then my parents wouldn't have passed away in a car crash and I wouldn't have to suffer Yui's, seiji's or the churches torment. Anyways, the cab just stopped.

"Yui! Roll up the window. We are here!" I shouted at her.

"Why should I listen to you?!" Yui replied, "You are not in charge of me! You're just a good for nothing shy and ugly girl!" She then opened up the door and stormed to get her luggage leaving me to pay the driver, thank him, and to roll up the window.

"I am so sorry for her behavior. Here's a tip." I said apologetically while handing the man a $10 tip. The cab driver looked at me while I got my bags and started closing the door.

He then said "no, I'm the one that's sorry that you have to live with her." He then drove off into the distance. I just shrugged, shook my head, then walked towards the door. Only now did I realize that it had started raining. I didn't pay the weather any attention though and went to the front door that was open. Rain was my favorite weather after all.

As I went into the large house I tried to observe everything. I just had this off feeling that this switch would not go as smoothly as we were told.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Yui yelled.

"Why did she have to disturb the peace?" I thought as I started walking in the direction that I had heard the scream come from. Then I saw Yui underneath a red headed boy in a sloppy style of dress with piercing green eyes. I shook my head and quietly muttered in a disappointed voice, "Yui, it is inappropriate to lie with a man whom you have just met."

She then looked at me with a shocked face and shouted disgustedly, "Me?! You think that I would do this?! I am the churches most faithful believer! This type of behavior would be what you would do!" I then looked down. I hated when she belittled me... I know that this innocent face that she is trying to put up is just that, a face. I've caught her sneaking off with males at the church but have never said anything... It's not like anyone would believe me anyway... I then felt the wind shift behind me and heard a man's voice.

"What is all the commotion about? Ayato may I remind you that this is the entrance hall and you need to take your private activities to your room?" The main said in a calm yet strict tone that oozed confidence.

"Damn it Reiji!" Ayato replied annoyed.

Yui then broke free from Ayato's grip and went up to Reiji. "Please help me!" she cried.

"Who are you, and why are you here? Ayato do you know anything about this?" Reiji replied.

"No, I was just sleeping when pancake and Mellon's came up to me."

"My name is Yui Komori and my father told me and that thing that we are supposed to live here while he is on business, and melon's? You mean me, right?"

"You haha! Obviously not! You're as flat as a pancake! Mellon's is your sister!"

"I agree. Also, it is rude to refer to a person as a thing." He replied while looking at me. It made me very surprised that someone actually acknowledged me and stuck up for me...

I looked up to him and said, "Thank you, you didn't have to do that."

"I feel that It is my responsibility to do so." He said gently, "Anyways it is not proper to talk in the entrance area. Please follow me to the living area." As me and Yui started to follow him I felt someone staring at my back. I looked behind me to find that Ayato was staring at me

"I'll see you later melons, and you won't get away next time pancake!" and with that note we started following Reiji towards what I guess was the living room.

Approximately 5 minutes later

Yui and I had just gotten to the living room and sat down on a couch when we noticed Ayato on a chair across from us.

"So, who are you and why have you come here?" Reiji asked.

"My name is Leah Komori, the younger sister by one year of Yui Komori. We were sent to this place because my adoptive father, Seiji Komori, needed to go on a long business trip." I kindly explained.

"What have we here?" chuckled another voice. I looked up on to the balcony where I believed the source was and saw another red haired male who also had green eyes. He however was wearing a fedora. "Is it true? Is there really two cute little human girls here?"

Suddenly I heard Yui shriek. I looked over to see the male that was on the balcony beside her licking her cheek. "Mmm, you smell so nice and sweet. However," he said while looking over to me. "You smell even more delicious." He came closer to me and as he opened his mouth to I presume lick my cheek as well I saw two little fangs.

"Interesting..." I thought as he licked my cheek,

"You taste even better though."

I then heard another males voice saying, "Let me have a taste." I then felt a wet sensation on my cheek. I then looked up to see a very pale purple haired male. He was holding a teddy bear that had an eye path.

"I would appreciate it if you would ask first." I mumbled.

"I'm sorry... it's just that i was curious. If it helps you are very sweet smelling" He replied

"It's okay. Just please ask next time and thank you." I replied while looking down blushing.

I then heard a female scoff. I looked over towards Yui to have her say, "You're such a slut."

"I'm sorry." I replied looking down.

Luckily Reiji spoke up at that moment. "Yui, it is not nice to call your sister a slut. And you two, don't you think that behavior is a little impolite towards lady's that you only have just met?"

I could feel the tension in the room so I looked up at Reiji. "It's okay Reiji, you don't have to make a fuss because of me..."

"lame." another voice sounded throughout the room.

"Dam it Subaru, I know that's you! Show yourself!" Ayato Shouted.

"I'm over here. I thought it smelled like human in here. How dare you interrupt my precious sleep?" Subaru replied He had whitish pink hair and pink eyes.

"H-How did you get in?" Yui stuttered.

"My question first!" Subaru replied while smashing his fist against the wall with so much force that it shattered beneath his hands.

"Oh no!" I shouted as I ran towards him, "Are you hurt?" I asked as i held his hand and looked into his beautiful pink eyes.

"I'm fine." He muttered as he ripped his hand away from mine and looked away.

"Okay." I muttered as I looked away. However, as I looked away I saw another man on the couch. He looked to be resting or asleep while listening to headphones. He had blond hair and looked so comfy. As I walked over to him he opened his eyes. His eyes were as clear and as blue as the ocean. "H-Hi," I stuttered.

He looked at me and smirked. "Cute." He then pulled me into his arms and nuzzled his face into my neck. I was just starting to fall asleep when I heard Reiji's voice and decided to listen to the conversation.

"Has anyone been told anything about these lady's who have come here to live with us?

"Excuse me! I think this is some kind of misunderstanding, so I'll be on my way. You can keep the slut but I'm going!" Yui suddenly stated.

"Just a moment." Reiji replied, "I am attempting to verify the truth of the matter. Wouldn't it be rather impolite to leave now?"

"B-But." Yui stuttered once again.

I then felt a vibration below me as a deep voice began to sound out. "Are you the women he mentioned?" Suddenly everyone looked over to us.

"Shu do you know something about these girls?" Ayato asked.

"Maybe." Shu replied.

"Don't maybe us, we want an explanation." Kanato replied angrily.

"That Guy, contacted me the other day. He said, soon you will have two guests arriving from the church, so treat them with respect." Shu replied softly while stroking my hair

"Are you telling us that Pancake and Mellon's are our prospective brides?" Ayato exclaimed.

"Oh, is that all?" Kanato sadly replied.

"More like a sacrafice than a bride." Laito commented.

"Oh, He also mentioned not to kill them." Shu added

"Really? that means we're going to have a very long relationship with them." Laito chuckled.

"It appears as though there is no mistake so allow us to introduce ourselves, that is the eldest son, shu, I am reiji the second son, the third is ayato." Reiji Started

"You wont get away next time pancake, nice to meet you melons." Ayato interrupted.

"Kanato," Reiji continued

"Please let me sample you again Leah." Kanato interrupted.

"Laito," Reiji Continued

"Pleased to meet you, Little Bitch, Leah." Laito nodded

"And finally, Subaru." Reiji finished.

"Tch, such a waste of time." Subaru commented

"There has to be a mix up! I cant marry any of you! your weird! Just take my sister instead!" Yui shouted, "I better call father, " she mumbled after yelling. She then reached into her pocket to grab her pink flip phone. I looked over at her only to see Ayato going through her phone.

"Hey! That is my phone! Please give it back for I need to call father!" She yelled

Ayato then looked at me, which I am still on Shu's chest, and asked, "Should I?"

"I just shook my head no and gestured to Subaru. He seemed to get the message as he passed it over to him.

"What are you doing?" Yui yelled.

"This!" He replied as he easily crushed the cellphone beneath his fingers.

Yui looked at Subaru with a look of horror. "How could you?" She exclaimed as she started running over to the door. However, she tripped on thin air and fell about half way onto her knees. Scraping one of them in the process to the point of blood. She looked up at the brothers and noticed their bright red glowing eyes.

"V-Vampires!" She exclaimed as she grabbed a crucifix and held it up in front of them.

"Honestly, did you really believe that a fairy tale written by a mortal claiming that vampires are hurt by garlic, crucifixes and sunshine, would really work on us? ...how arrogant humans are." Reiji stated

Yui then got up and started to run away.

"Her manners could use some working on." Reiji Replied.

"I agree." I stated. "That was so rude of her to yell and try to hurt you. then to run away? Ugh, she has always been like that..."

"Thank you for sticking up for us, would you like me to show you your room?"

"Thank you as well, and yes. I would love that."
