Chapter 2: School

The next morning, I was woken up by the most irritating noise... Yui Whining. then after about 10 minutes of trying to get back to sleep and failing, I decided to get up.

*knock Knock*

"Come in," I yelled. The door then slowly creaked open and Reiji came into my room.

"Good morning Leah, How was your sleep?" Reiji politely asked.

"Excellent, except for my 'alarm clock' that woke me up. It was a very irritating noise to be woken up to." I explained while observing the butler-styled male in front of me.

"I see," he lowly replies, " I'll have to punish that 'alarm clock'. I am also deeply sorry for disturbing your morning. However, I'm afraid that it is necessary. I have brought the uniform that I need you to put on for school in two hours. If it doesn't fit, please let me know and I will get you a new one as soon as possible. Now, I'm about to start breakfast so please come down in about an hour."

"Perfect, thank you for your amazing hospitality," I replied as I started to get up and check the sizes on the clothing. "Oh, Reiji! the shirt is a few sizes too small!" I explained as I looked up to where I thought Reiji was, only to find air. "Oops, I guess I was just a little too late..." I muttered.

I started walking down the hall towards the stairs that I knew would lead me to the kitchen with my school outfit on, except a strappy tee-shirt instead of the button-up shirt they gave me because my boobs were too big for the shirt size that Reiji gave me. I also made a couple more tweaks to the uniform to help make me feel a bit more comfortable in the new environment that I will be emersed in. For example, Instead of the red and white bow, I chose a thick red choker. Instead of the short skirt, I have tight black tights. Instead of the brown loafer-type shoes, I chose a tall black heel that showed off my blood-red nails.

Finally, I reached the delicious-smelling kitchen. Entering the room I called out, "Reiji?"

"Yes, Ms. Komori?" He replied.

"For one, my name is Leah, and for two, the shirt you gave me is two sizes too small. I'm not my sister you know." I explained with a wink.

Reiji looked at me and blushed, " I-I-I Didn't mean t-t-to give you t-t-t-the wrong s-s-s-size. I-I-I-I'll get you a n-n-n-new one right away."

"Ohhh Reiji! It's ok! I didn't mean to make you that flustered!" I exclaimed. "I'm sorry!!!"

I left the kitchen after that silently chuckling to myself about how adorable Reiji looked. About ten minutes after our conversation Reiji called everyone for breakfast, which, was strawberry pancakes. After that, we left for the limo. I decided to sit in between Reiji and Subaru. The ride was pretty quiet except for the triplets bothering Yui. I, however, just read a book along with Reiji.

When we got to the school I heard a bunch of girls screaming. Having not expected this I was surprised. 'Were these boys famous and I didn't realize it? I don't believe so, although, I have been quite distracted lately trying to get used to my surroundings... No! If they were famous I would have noticed.' We then get out and all I can hear is,

"Be my boyfriend!"

"Let's get married!"

"Have my babies!"

'Oh my gosh, these girls are insane! Do they have no dignity!?!' Then... all of a sudden... It gets really quiet... and a whole new set of questions start first with Yui for she is the first person out of the limo.

"Why is SHE with THEM? They are so high above her level!"

"OMG! who is that ugly flatbread lady in front of them!"

"She would never be able to provide them with what I can!"

'Oh my...' then it is my turn to get out. I start feeling panicky because I'm almost certain that they will treat me as bad as Yui or maybe even worse... I slowly get out and hear...

"OMG!!!! She is gorgeous! Is she a model?!?!"

"I'm so jealous of her figure, especially her chest..."

"She looks so calm and angel-like!"

After having my confidence boosted a little I went to Reiji and asked for my schedule. "Hey, Reiji, do you have my schedule?"

"Yes, yes I do. You have Baking with Laito and Kanato first. Than Music with Me and Shu. And to finish it off for today, Gym with Subaru and Ayato. Do you understand?" He asked with a slight smile.

"Yes, Thank you Reiji," I replied smiling. "Laito and Kanato, would you boys be able to escort me?"

"Of course my fair lady," Laito replied

"Only if you make teddy and me some treats..." Kanato replied as well.

With that, we started walking towards what I guess was the Kitchen in the school. Luckily we got there just as the bell rang. We found a station and put our things down and looked towards the teacher for instructions.

"Hello, class! today in order for me to fully examine your skill level I need all of you to bake a dish. I will evaluate you at the end of the class before you leave and let you know your score out of 10. Now, get to work!" The teacher fully exclaimed. Next thing I know everyone started jumping into action wondering what to bake and planning. Luckily for me, I have been working on some ideas before I even came to this school. I decided to make Lavender-Lemon cupcakes and Rose Water infused Macaroons with leaves around them to try to simulate a gardenlike theme.

I started by collecting some lavender and rose petals from the mini garden that is run by the foods class. Then I started infusing some water with the rose petals since that would need the longest amount of time for the best results. After that I grated and juiced a lemon. After that I mixed up a quick English Buttercream and separated it into two bowls. Then I added the lemon juice into of the bowls. And left the other plain. Then I put the finished icings into two piping bags and put them into the fridge to firm up a bit more. After that I started on the baking process for the macaroon. I whipped the egg whites into a meringue and added some almond flour that I blended myself. After that I added the rose water and food coloring to make it a bit more pink. Then added the mixture into a piping bag and piped little circles onto a pan and put that into the oven. I then quickly whipped up a vanilla cupcake batter and added the little lavender flowers and put them inside the oven as well. When both of them came out of the oven I put them into the fridge for about 20 minuets to cool. After that I put them on a cooling rack and started the pip the frostings respectively. Then I placed them on a plate with some leaves that I cleaned around them.

"Ok, now it's time to show my plate to he judges... I hope they like it," I thought.

Let's just say I got a 10/10. I made 2 amazing deserts with a garden theme in the time it took everyone else to make 1 type of desert. Anyways, next is Music with Reiji and Shu. Reiji came and picked me up after I was finished cleaning my station. When we arrived we picked spots next to each other in the front. The teacher gave basically the same speech about evaluating our skills but with music. We all picked instruments and were told to present our song at the end of the class. At the end of the class, I was called up last to present. I chose to do Antidote by Faith Marie on the piano.

"I chose this song to help release the emotions that have been building up inside me. I always feel like 'no one knows what is going on inside my head'. So I'm glad that I can show you this side of me without worry." I explained with teary eyes while looking down.

All the smudges on the mirror made me go insane

When I finally looked up after finishing the song, all I saw were sad yet understanding faces. then the bell rang. I'm actually excited to go to gym. You may think I'm just a bookworm that is not active but I love running. The wind on my face and body and the smell of the grass, flowers, and, and... freedom. Anyways, I arrived at Gym, thanks to Subaru, only to see that Ayato is not here with us.

"Hey Subaru, Where is Ayato? I thought he was in this class with us. Or did I miss hear what Reiji said?" I questioned.

"Tch, Ayato stupidly drank Yui's blood earlier this morning to the point of her passing out so he was tasked with taking her home and watching her." He replied.

"Ok... Thank you Subaru! I'll see you after changing." I exclaimed with a slight smile. 'Too bad Ayato isn't here. Based on how he dresses I would have thought that this was his favorite class. I wanted to know more about him... Oh well, at least Subaru is in this class with me. He's really nice...' I thought to myself while changing

After we finished changing into the P.E. uniform, shorts and a tank top, we were told to line up. We were then put into teams and played dodgeball. Subaru and I were a great team and worked very well together. I got out a couple of times but Subaru was able to get me back into the game. This went on for a little bit until it was the end of the day.

Then I followed Subaru to the limo after changing back into my uniform. When I got into the limo I sat between Subaru and Reiji again. Then the next thing I knew, I was falling asleep on Reiji's shoulder as we were on our way back to my new home...
