Chapter 84 - Daughters of Darkness

When Tansy finally made it to work, Laci was already there, sitting at the table, a steaming cup of tea in front of her. Tansy chuckled at the teacup. Wanda shoved tea on everyone the minute they walked through the door, more so lately than before. Tansy was sure it was the only way the older witch knew how to bring comfort to others during these troubling times. “Morning, Laci,” Tansy greeted. “How was your weekend?” She glanced around, locating the others. Sherri sat on a stool behind the front counter, sorting stones, and Tansy heard Wanda rustling around in the back room. If Famallumi was back there with her, Tansy couldn’t tell.

“Well, it’s sad that the highlight of my weekend was traipsing around in a dead squirrel’s mind,” Laci said with a depressing chuckle.

Tansy stopped where she was, turning more toward the young lady. “A dead squirrel? I take it this is something Nazareth had you doing?”
