Chapter 86 - Daughters of Darkness

Tansy dropped into her lounge chair on her back porch, a glass of wine in her hand. She drank her fill of tea, thanks to Wanda, to last her the week. Tansy needed something different to soothe her tattered nerves tonight. She almost took a page out of Nazareth’s book and fixed herself something stronger, but thought better of it in the end. She needed to keep her wits about her. She hadn’t heard from the detective yet, but figured he was just as busy as they were. Lately, life seemed to move a little too fast for her, not giving any of them time to breathe or even think before the next calamity struck. It became overwhelming at times.
