Chapter 123- Chaos Magicians

“What do you know about her?” Professor Edward Lankton asked as he stood in front of his window, hands clasped behind his back as he watched the redhead from the courtyard cross the parking lot with the other two with whom he noticed her having lunch.

Marcus Ledbetter shrugged. “I know nothing about her. Damien said he helped her coven sever the bonds their High Priestess forced upon them, but that was about it. He met them at that dorm party a few nights ago. She’s a witch, that’s all I know.”

Professor Lankton cocked an eyebrow at the kid’s insufferable inadequacy. “Your brother is an impetuous sod,” he said. “He runs his mouth too much, thinking his power is for nothing besides getting college simpletons to spread their legs. We do not have time for his foolery.”

Marcus snickered from where he sat on the arm of one of the professor’s leather, high-back chairs. “You say that as if you’ve seen him have sex. Foolery’s a good word for it.”
