“But you left her,” Sherri said, one eyebrow cocked. “Kind of shouts the opposite of love, dude.”


Tansy glanced over at the blonde, not disagreeing with her, then turned her gaze back to Dean. “So far, what you’ve told me makes no sense. You disappeared in the middle of the night, and now you’re telling me you know all about everything I’ve been a part of the past few months? You still haven’t told me why your leaving saved my life.”
