The bell over the door jingled as Melli entered the store. “Hello,” she said, her sullen tone bringing raised eyebrows from both Tansy and Wanda. “I won’t take up your time. I just wanted you to have this for your own information.” She laid a file folder in front of Tansy and turned to leave.


Tansy pulled the folder closer, opening it. “Are you all right? You never just walk in and leave.”


“I’m fine,” Melli said as she drew closer to the door, turning to face the others. “I know you’re not interested in anything happening this weekend, so I didn’t want to waste your time. I just thought you might want to see what will take place tomorrow, so you can prepare. They’ll probably be setting things up during the day, blocking off the side streets. It has a list of times, so you can tell your employees. They may need to park on a side street at some point.”
