Chapter 164 - Chaos Magicians

Hannah told Tansy her and Damien would hide among the crowd. The woman wasn’t comfortable letting Damien out of her sight. Too much rage boiled within the young man. Tansy didn’t blame her and just said for them to be ready when the time came. Hopefully, they would know when that was. Hopefully, Tansy would know when that time was, as well.

She had called Mark Rochester earlier in the day, filling him in on what was happening. He promised to have police standing by, as well as medical units, just in case. She didn’t know how he would explain that, but the detective had become quite adept at describing the indescribable as of late. She trusted he would manage.

Jayden was already on her way to The Murky Cauldron, and just as Tansy hung up the phone from Kayla, Dean walked into the store, his white oak staff in his right hand as if he needed it to walk. A good disguise for a powerful weapon.

“Everything ready?” he asked, as he entered the store.
