Let The Game begin

"Senior, please wait a minute…" Suddenly a cute voice from behind stopped Zhang Wei's step.

Zhang Wei stopped and turned around to see the voice's owner. A young cute girl together with her 2 female friends around 18 years old. Clearly, they are real-life friends playing Earth 2.0 (E2.0).

"What is the matter?" No man can ignore a cute girl's request, this included Zhang Wei.

"A few players are camping at the newbie spawning point, they are killing newbies including my friends. They can't join us here because of the campers. We want you to kill those campers, I will pay you $1000 if you are willing to help me." Even though she looked nervous, she was quite serious in her requests.

"Emm… I'm kinda busy at the moment." Zhang Wei was trying to bargain, he knew this young group was not an ordinary player, they must be from rich family backgrounds.

"$10,000! That is the highest I can pay you!" The girl knew the level 65 player in front of her was trying to play ball with her, however, she doesn't care. As long as he can get rid of the campers, paying $10,000 is well worth for her revenge.

"Okay I agree, I will go and get rid of them right now." Even though $10,000 might be peanut money for him, nevertheless, it was free money. For the average worker in China, 70,000 [$10,000] Yuan was a huge sum of money.

Zhang Wei ran to the spawning point and saw around 10 players between level 8 to level 20 camping around the location. Without waiting any longer, he ran towards them.

A level 10 swordsman saw Zhang Wei, before he could notify his friends he was already dead. After killing the swordsman, Zhang Wei killed the remaining players without a single word. They have zero chance of running away from him, much less than giving it a fight. They all died from a single strike.

All the players who saw this were quite shocked. A level 65 player was bullying a group of newbies!

"Did you record it?"

"Yes, who do you think I am?" Answered the other player wearing white equipment.

These two players were well-known in the gaming community. They run a website called GamingNews.Net catering gaming news all over china with over 1 million followers.

Due to their busy schedule, they only started playing E2.0 today. Both of them were level 13 and on their way back to town. They wanted to use the teleportation service to change their leveling location.

On the way back, they saw a group of villains killing new players at the spawning location. Both of them hid and started recording the killing event.

"Who is that guy?"

"I don't know, let's watch and record."

After Zhang Wei killed all the 8 low-level players, none of them respawn again. Moments later, newbies (new players) started to spawn in this location and quickly ran away the moment they appeared. Zhang Wei was smiling looking at the newbie action, they must have been killed several times.

"Senior, thank you." The 3 young girls were quite happy seeing all the villains have been killed off. Zhang Wei just nodded.

"Senior, how do I pay you?" Asked the previous young girl.

"Please don't call me senior, I am not much older than you. For the payment, pay me later when Earth 2.0 launches next month."

"I'll be using the same in-game nickname." Zhang Wei held tight his black stone and was teleported back to his saved point.

"That guy didn't even say goodbye, he just went away like that. What a rude guy!"

"Yeah Xiao Li, I know you want to recruit him for your brother's guild but with that kind of attitude, you shouldn't, what's more, even his name "KheMeia" is too weird.

Both of Xiao Li's (real-life name) friends were quite offended by Zhang Wei's action. First, he asked for more money for an easy job. Secondly, he didn't care at all and walked away without any words. This is blandly disrespectful to them.

In their real life, everybody was giving them some respect due to their family background. All three of them were heirs of some multi-millionaire family. Xiao Li, for example, is the only daughter of a very rich family. Her family net worth was over a billion dollars!

"Both of you are mistaken with my intent here. Have you forgotten he didn't even care to wait for me to give him $10,000? That is 70,000 Yuan, someone who can ignore this kind of money shouldn't be an average player. My brother told me that he needs a particular group of people to support his guild. That guy is just what my brother has been looking for." Explained Xiao Li to her 2 best friends.

At this moment, a lot of newbies were spawning at this location after the group of villains had been removed. Xiao Li and her 2 friends were waiting for their friend here.

"What kind of people are your brother looking for? A rich player?"

"You may not know this, but my brother's company did some research about Earth 2.0. They predicted that this game will become a very profitable investment in the future.

However, to get that, we need a lot of capital to invest first. We are rich but not everybody agrees with my brother's opinion, even my father does not agree with his plan. So you see, he needs outside sources to help him."

"Can we invest too?" Asked one of the females, she is also from a rich family, even though not as rich as Xiao Li.

"My brother told me the minimum investment per person is $10 million (70m Yuan), and you may need to top up later. If you have that kind of money, my brother will gladly welcome you to become one of the guild elders."

"Wow, that much?" Even though they are rich, they don't have that kind of cash for initial investment.

"Xiao Li, Biyu, MeiFeng where are the campers?" Suddenly another 2 beautiful females appeared from the spawning location.

"They have been dealt with, lets go before another PKers player comes." In this group, as the richest family heir, XiaoLi became the unopposed leader.

Nobody can get away with the one-child policy in China. However, if you are willing to pay the $100m (700million Yuan) fine to the government, you are allowed to have a second child.

Since XiaoLi is the second child from a wealthy family, she was secretly called the 100 million dollar baby during her primary and secondary school. At first, she was quite sad being called a 100m baby, but as time went on, she completely accepted it.

While the 5 beauties were leveling up, Zhang Wei teleported back to his saved point in the basic town. Even though it was only a BETA run, quite a lot of players were opening shops in this basic city. The city is called Brark City and is governed by Lord Brark VII. He inherited his family's Earl Title awarded to his founding family by the King almost 1000 years ago.

Under the Lord Brark Family administration, a small village founded by the first generation of the Brark family became a Basic City in less than 1000 years. Even though it was only a basic city, it can easily serve between 1 million to 3 million populations.

Zhang Wei strolled along a player set-up shop to see if there were any cheap equipment available. It was no surprise a large number of players were selling super rare equipment at a low price, yet a few players were selling epic equipment at monstrous prices. Even though it is only a BETA price, it is good for Zhang Wei to survey the price for future references.

Sui Jianguo, Yen Qiang, and Gan Li logged on to Earth 2.0 and found out the spawning location had been clear. There was no longer a PK player waiting for them. Soon the three of them went to the southern outskirts of Azfield Town to level up. There were over a thousand players on this map alone killing the monster rabbit.

Without waiting any longer, they started killing the level 1 monster rabbit using only the knife provided by the system. On this map, there are only 3 types of monsters available to the player. All the monsters are non-aggressive, meaning they will not attack a player unless the player attacks them first.

After less than 10 minutes, all of them reached level 5 with a few coins and loot from the monster's drop. They went back to the town to buy some supplies for them. Inside the town, they were quite astonished seeing many players were just relaxing talking to each other. If someone wanted to count these players, it would be over 5 thousand!

"What are they doing? Not leveling up?" Asked Gan Li.

"This is only a BETA run, so maybe they were just chilling." Answered Yen Qiang, Sui Jianguo didn't say anything.

All of them went to an NPC store, bought the supplies they needed, and went to the outskirts, East of Azfield Town.
