Cold

It was dark....and cold....like I'm forced to lay on the ice in a dark room. Slowly something was squeezing my heart. It was hard for me to breathe. I want to move, shout for help, hold something but nothing.

I have been standing for 5 hours but Xavier didn't move an inch, his heartbeat was becoming slower, and mine fast. I don't want to think about what will happen because I have a hope that he will be fine while others don't think the same as me. A tear fell slowly, leaving its trace on my face but for the first time I want to cry, I don't want to be strong.

If only I would have gotten there before and would have end-all that before he or anyone else got injured.

What I still can't understand is how our magic worked, Magic wasn't supposed to work in this pack then how? Who removed that magic and allowed anyone to do magic. It is confusing and frustrating.

"Oh my God!" Mia exclaimed and I looked at her to see she was looking at Xavier who's heartbeats were becoming fast it was as if he was trying to fight whatever it was. I ran towards him, his face, hands everything was cold. I looked at Mia and it was like she is thinking about something.

"Can we do anything?" I asked her.

"I'm not sure, I have to see if I know any spell that can help." She replied. I looked at Xavier he was moving a lot, his breath becomes rigid.

"Call the doctor Mia!" She nodded while going for looking for a doctor. I kept my one hand on his head while the other on his heart and he stopped moving as he went back to the same condition he was. He was having a nightmare in between all this, but why?

The door opened and I excepted the doctor or Mia but It was Oliver. He was looking severely injured as his clothes were covered in blood. He had a plaster wrapped around his hand and I think his legs are also injured by his face it looks like it's hards for him to stand.

"Sit," I ordered him and helped him in sitting on the couch near the window where I was standing before Xavier got a panic attack.

"How is he?" He asked looking at Xavier.

"Not good, what about you?" I changed the topic as I don't want to talk about how his condition is going toward the worst.

"I'm good," He replied shortly. "What about the beta?" I don't know where this question came from but maybe I want to know.

"In the other room beside Xavier." He said with a very sad face.

"What happened to him?" I didn't know the beta was injured too.

"3 arrows dipped in wolfbane have scratched his skin." He said while I looked at him in confusion.

"Don't tell me that only scratches got him to hospital." I mean scratches are nothing and when they have a witch, Xavier's mother it shouldn't be a big problem.

"I know the sound weird, even when we have witches in our pack." I wanted to ask him that do they have more witches but he continued. " You know the old doctors were so good but a months ago Xavier's mother asked him to change doctor and I told him to say no but being an obedient son that he is for his mother only he said okay. And see these doctors now, they are useless. My wounds weren't so serious but look." He was becoming angrier as his dark brown eyes changed into black.

So...ouch, oh my god. Not now.

Oliver looked at me as my golden eyes stared at him back.

"You should go home, Stella." He told me and I know why he was saying this but I can't leave.....ouch.....not when I'm understanding everything slowly.

"You're in heat Stella. It's not safe for you to be here with so many males around." He looked at me while his wolf was also getting out of control.

"C-call...Call Mia NOW!" I shouted as the intense pain hit hard.

'I told you taking meds for delaying your heat wasn't a good idea.' My wolf said but I can't answer her now as the pain was very intense. I laid on the floor clutching my stomach.

The pain was double as I delayed my heat not only this my smell was also stronger and it was a sign of danger for all.

"What happened Ella?" Mia came rushing toward me looking all worried.

"H.....H-heat...hide my smell with a spell," I told her and she did as I told her because there was no time for argument.

"Your smell is covered but not for long. I can't do anything about pain." Mia told me and even though I felt like someone had just pushed me into a field full of cactus and fire....yeah I was sweating even in cold weather.

"It's fine." I kept my hand on my stomach and a wave of relief went through my body as the pain become less but this won't last long.

"Oliver, Mia collects every single wolf who is injured in a field. Ask Sebastian for help too. Mia don't waste your energy on any small thing, we have to do something and that will need a lot of power. Now fast." I stood up and walked toward Xavier who lying without any movement just slow heartbeats were telling us that he is alive.

"I know I'm not so good. Never have done anything good for others. But today I'm doing something for your pack, for you. I hope you will come back and appreciate, ignoring the other things you will know when you will wake up. I just want to say I care about you and I will not stop until you are fine and back because I have promised myself that I won't let anyone of you lose this game. Though I can't promise about myself being with you all." I kissed lightly on his forehead, it was the first time I showed him affection.....when he was unconscious and would not remember this.

I stand on the stage, it looks like it's a place where they use to work out and practice defense. I didn't know Blue Moon pack had this many wolves but now that I was standing in front of them, there were many males. Some had broken bones while others got a bite mark. But only some high ranks wolves were injured with wolfsbane, not too much that will kill them but enough to keep them in agony.

"What are you exactly about to do?" Sebastian asked me. He was looking tired, I know he has helped a lot.

"Don't worry your girlfriend will be alright." I smiled and he looked annoyed as I was joking in this type of situation.

"Ok jeez, it's not that hard I will just do the spell of healing," I told him and he looked at me with narrowed eyes.

"A mixture of some spells which will heal their injury, like a broken bone or any other Injury like that. Also, the wolf's bane scratches will be alright and they will be back to their healthy self." I told him on which his face changed in a worried one.

"But El, you said you would never use-" I cut him before he could say anything else.

"I know I said that I won't use my powers because I was afraid of what the witch said, I thought I would kill someone or do something wrong but don't you think that maybe it's just a lie. I never accept my true nature, I'm a hybrid. I know you let me act because you want me to live a peaceful life. But I don't think I can keep my act for long." I told him as looked at me like a proud father.

"You know how to do magic?" he asked me.

"Been doing it for a year or two now." He nodded while Mia who was listening to all this smiled.

"Are you ready?" Mia asked me I nodded, I can feel the pain of heat coming back. Just for some more seconds, please I have to do this. I should have an army with me so I can fight for everything that is waiting for us. I can not let them down. One look at Sebastian and Oliver I started the spell Mia repeating after me.
