Just Another High School Story!

They got out of the car, and Ethan walked over to open Leah's door for her; the courageous Lee was now freaking out in the passenger seat of the car, he opened the door, at which, may I add, many girls rolled their eyes, and then Leah stepped out, she looked... it's hard to explain, like she'd found her way.

Leah was popular but not confident. This was evident to anyone observant enough, though she'd put up a facade around everyone, there was a girl though, who would become her best friend soon. Mia was dumbstruck when she saw them pulling in together, coming to school together like that mean declaring your relationship, as a couple-couple, if you get what I mean. Mia hadn't thought Leah would move on so fast. She was the observant one, she understood Leah better than most, they knew the lyrics to all Taylor Swift songs, and could reenact Korean drama scenes, they'd dance to K-pop songs and spend hours learning a choreography. Mia was really similar to Leah when it came to interests, just one thing about them was different. Mia was interested in girls-- she was bisexual. And she'd just looked at Leah from the sidelines, hoping to confess when she mustered her strength, and courage. But alas, she'd missed her chance.

Ethan pulled open the car door, and reached his hand out to this girlfriend, then he took her hand pulled her out of the car. With everyone's eyes on html, they walked into the school slowly. The first tradition was complete. The second one would be sticking to each other like magnets. Leah wanted to. Though, she wasn't so sure about Ethan. Her doctor, Grumps had forbid her to play volleyball and now she didn't have anything to do, but Ethan, he was their school star, the popular guy, would he be the same in public as he was to her in private. Gosh, popularity isn't all that fabulous. You'll know why soon enough.

With nothing much to do, Leah scampered off to the drama club where Matt was handling scripts all by himself; Leah entered noiselessly and tried to scare him by catching him off guard, she slowly sauntered to where he was, and he was definitely unaware of her presence; she yelled boo and the startling scream that escaped Matt's throat took her by surprise; she lost her balance and was about to fall off stage, on her back, when Matt grabbed her, his hand clutched her waist, and he used what seemed like little strength to pull her back, at the same time, Mindy walked in with her posse, and of course, she immediately began, "Wow, Leah, you look so innocent but you're just a two-timing bitch, you come with Ethan in the morning, and here you are with this loser during day. Who else have you promised to spend time with? Shawn, is it, poor him, he followed you around like a puppy, and you looked at him with those vixen eyes, and now he's just your pawn, you've thrown him off to the side to conquer the king. Well, let me tell you something, bitch, I promise you, you and Ethan will be broken up before our prom comes. Mark my words!!" With that, she left Leah, and Matt, both of them flabbergasted. Was Leah in a drama, what was Mindy's problem, what was she talking about, when did Leah ever look at Shawn with 'vixen eyes', on top of that, sure, Leah had had a crush on Shawn, but it blew over soon, since Ethan hadn't just distracted her, he'd occupied her heart wholly for quite a while now. Shawn wasn't even qualified to be called her past, Mindy's words left her befuddled, but she bore her countenance well, instead of breaking down and/or cussing Mindy out, she decided to let it slide. She couldn't care about what Mindy said, after all Mindy had said those things to trip her, if she listened to her, she'd probably lose all her hair trying to understand why she said what she did. Leah remembered how excited she'd gotten when Mindy had trashed her after she'd lost to Leah. Now, Leah was popular and it seemed berating, and belittling. Leah hated it. But she could only swallow her surprise. She then began helping Matt organise the scripts and talked to him about a role, she wanted to audition for Elinor Dashwood, since, Leah had loved Jane Austen since she could read words. Leah got a big nod from Matt who told her the official audition dates, and assured her that the role was hers.

During gym class, everyone was playing around, Leah had been excused because of the note she'd gotten form their doctor's office, the woman that sat in the office was one of a kind, a very spiritual lady, she told Leah to not worry, and with a smile on her face handed her a note which excused her from playing for a while. She didn't want to go sit, and do nothing and so she went to the music room, meanwhile, Ethan was playing Volleyball when he went to grab water. Mindy, a perfect schemer, was talking to her friends, sitting on the sidelines, Ethan heard their conservation even though he didn't want to, since they were speaking especially loudly, as if for Ethan to hear, he was sipping on his water, when Mindy thus spoke, "I still can't believe Leah is playing Ethan. Every one knows how she had a thing going on with Shawn, and when Ethan came along, she dropped him. Just like that. Poor Shawn!" Ethan was displeased and immediately moved away, but he couldn't stop the words the words from echoing in his mind, Leah had a thing with Shawn.

This isn't real, he did tell himself that, but unfortunately, we always believe lies when we're insecure because of Leah's fragile state of mind, Ethan had changed himself a bit, for example, he was the doesn't-share-anything type of guy, if something was his then he'd not share it, this applied for deodorant, food, and most importantly Leah.

Leah was his. He didn't want anything to get in the way of that.
