Chapter 2

“Louise!” An officer called her. Louise is currently walking to the canteen to buy something to eat because she haven’t eat lunch and to avoid the silly challenge in the library that will happen any minute from now.

She turned around and answered “What is that?”

“The other officers wanted you to sign something”

“Something? I already sign the papers about the next occasions in the

school. Did I forget something?”

“Here look at this..” The officer handed the papers to Louise.

“Wait this is a work…” Louise could not finish what she was saying because someone covered her eyes with a cloth.

“What’s happening?! what is this all about?” Louise screamed.

“I’m sorry Louise someone just ordered me to get you.” The officer said. Then two other people hold her hands to secure her. People around the area also turned to their way. They were wondering what is it all about or is there a new challenge going on.

“What is the meaning of this?” Louise shouted while trying to escape from the students who were holding her but they were much stronger.

“I’m sorry Louise. I was just ordered. Don’t worry we will not do anything bad to you so please calm down.” Said the student who called her earlier.

“How can I calm at this rate when you are doing this to me?”

“It’s the only way because if I’ll tell you straight up I know you will decline.”

There is only one thing that Louise doesn’t like during foundation day. The

Item Search Challenge.

The students make way for Louise and the other students who were holding her to pass through the crowd. Everyone wanted Louise to participate but Louise doesn’t want to.

The girls who are talking about her earlier were also whispering bad mouthing her.

“Why would they force someone?”

“Yeah right. I am much willing to participate than her.”

“Why would they want that girl to participate anyway? If she’s afraid then let her be. Why would everyone call her brave?”

“I know right! You’re so correct girl!”

When they removed Louise’s blindfold, she tried to escape but the other student stopped her so that she can’t escape.

“Opss Ms. President! Don’t run away from us.” Troy said to Louise.

“Why are you forcing me to participate? There are other students who wants to join you know.” Louise calmly said to Troy even though she’s really nervous what would this challenge lead to.

“We noticed that for the past 3 years, you were so active to other activities at school. You were always there wherever the venues are. But when it comes to this challenge, we cannot see even an inch of your shadow near the library.”

“It’s because I don’t want to join. It’s just tiring to join this silly challenge.” Louise defended herself.

“Oh common Louise. We’re graduating next year. You should experience this challenge right guys?” Troy asked everyone.

“That’s why this year, we have a favor to ask you. We want you to be the girl participant.” The secretary said.

Louise got nervous because she really doesn’t like to join plus she doesn’t want other people to know her weakness. She doesn’t want anyone to think of her as a weakling. She also thought that if she declined the challenge others would think that she can’t do it.

“Okay fine I’ll do it.” She confidently answered. Everyone was clapping their hands because the famous president will be participating this year.

“Okay everyone, Ms. President is in!” Troy announced to all. “Who wants to be her partner?” Troy asked the crowd.

There was a long silenced. There are boys who wants to participate but none of them are brave enough to speak plus having Louise as their partner will bring pressure to them.

“Anyone? Common guys, you don’t like to be partnered to our president? That would be a shame. Common the prizes are bigger this year since it’s our last year. Troy spoke encouraging the students to join and be Louise’s partner.

“Count me in.” A voice from a far was heard. Everyone turned to where that voice came from. The girls screamed knowing that it’s Sean Sebastian who bravely participated and be the president’s partner.

“What the… Is he into Louise?” one of the girls who bad mouthed Louise asked.

“I thought he’s just defending her”

“Don’t talk like that girls. She’s just participating. He looks even cooler!” Their friend screamed.

Other people were also impressed about it. Sean Sebastian and Louise Corporal as a pair. There’s so much to talk about it stating to why Sean’s participating because he’s never seen to be close with girls and even interested with them.

Sean walked towards the entrance of the library while others are still whispering and talking about it.

“Everyone may seem interested why mister perfect guy participated.” Troy spoke. “May I ask why is it Mr. Sebastian?”

“Just like you said, it’s our last year. We must try new things right?” Sean asked back.

“What a good perspective Mr. Sebastian. I think that there is another reason. Am I right?”

“You are just thinking nonsense like any people here thinks. I just feel that it’s enjoyable to join. Right Ms. Louise Corporal?” Sean looked at Louise.

“Yeah right.” Louise sarcastically answered Sean’s question. “You’re to dumb to participate.” Louise added whispering.

“What did you say?”

“No nothing. Let’s just find whatever that object is then we are going out of that library quick.”

“Why are you telling me to finish this challenge fast?” Sean asked.

“None of your business.”

“Look here Ms. President. I’m asking you properly. You should also answer me properly.”

“You have no right to tell me what’s right and wrong I know that already.” Louise spoke with a straight face hiding her nervous self inside.

“Wow you’re like this huh?” Sean cannot believe what he is hearing from Louise.

“People are also wondering what they are talking about because the only one who can hear their conversation is their selves.”

“All set!” Shouted Troy!
