“So Jeremy was the only one who figured stuff out?” Ethan asked as we arrived on the ground floor from the elevator.
I nodded. “I mean still, it was a bit shocking to me. He's only fifteen...and he already has his entire life figured out...sorta. Seems like he’s supposed to, right? Seems a little... sudden.”
“That's amazing, though,” Ethan mumbled, pondering over it all. “He is a genius, so I won't think about it happening any other way. If he'd grown up here it might've happened, but it's even more extraordinary that he was just human till that moment.”
I gripped to the garbage bag in my hand which was full of all the dirty clothes that needed to be washed. “Where's the laundry room?”
“This way,” Ethan motioned, swinging his garbage bag over his shoulder, effortlessly.
