To what lengths would you go to discover your true purpose?

Faye is thrust into a world that she had long forgotten. She is introduced to the realm of The Guardians; Wielders of the world’s greatest magic. It is a world unseen by mere human eyes. Faye learns that in order to see the guardians, their magic, or their world, she must be one of them. As she adjusts to life in this newly discovered guardian city, Faye –with the help of her best friend, Ethan, and a loyal group of guardian friends – begins a tedious journey towards self discovery.

She will never be the same again.

 Faye wandered around the academy alone for a while that night, watching as children played themselves to weariness and were then hurried up to their parents’ apartments to get ready for bed. 


 She wondered if it were still possible for her to have a family like them. Could she run away from being a Muse? Could she maybe resign her position and give it to someone else? She wondered what it would be like to wake up at sunrise next to the love of her life and amazing little children of her own; just a normal girl... just a normal girl with a special ability. 


 She wondered if she could still have it all... if she could end the war and come back to have a life as beautiful and simplistic as that.
