Synopsis
Siri is a young intern at a news company where she struggles to fit in and work hard enough to earn a living to support her only remaining family.
Born by immigrant parents she struggles to find her identity, and becomes more aware of the disparity and discrimination all around her.
Her uneventful regular life soon takes a dramatic turn when she gets entangled between her runaway neighbor and a prince charming who pressures her for a romantic relationship
While she tries to wrap her ahead around things, tragedy strikes and the twists and turns surrounding the tragic events spirals out of control.

SIRI

Siri woke up at 5:00am to see her grandmother staring intently at her. She stretched and yawned lazily cuddling up to her grandmother. 


"Oh mama, you must miss grandaddy a lot." 


Her grandmother laughed and held her in the bed warmly, Siri coiled in deeper her head resting on her grandmother's chest. She did not hear any heart beat at all and had to listen in closer. The drumming began to sound hard and sharp and Siri snuggled in closer to enjoy the rhythm. 


"It's a pity you have to leave me soon. I'll miss you terribly." 


"You know, I'll only be gone for a little while. I need to make sure that the coast is clear over there." 


"Always. I'll never leave you for too long." 


They both held each other in silence till Siri began to feel hot. She felt happy as her face began to moisten. Maybe the heater was on too high? Her mama broke through the thoughts
