Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. After a span of silence, Charles opened his mouth and said, “You are not going anywhere. You are now mine; mine to love, and mine to torture.”

The next day, as soon as the sun sets over the horizon, the guests started entering the party hall of a luxurious hotel in M city. All the employees and business associates of Thompson and Co were present at the party. 


Robert Mills was excitedly waiting for the mysterious CEO of the Voyage Groups. He thought it would be a good chance to talk to him. He was talking to the other guests but his concentration was on the entrance. 


On the other side of the party hall, Aidan murmured something in Abigail’s ear. She seemed surprised, “Who is coming?” 


Aidan chuckled, “It’s a surprise for you. Just treat him well. If you can impress him, he can solve the problems your company is facing. It will be beneficial for you and me as well.” 


Abigail was sort of confused. She was still wondering who on the earth was invited to this party. In the meantime, there was a commotion at the entrance of the hall. 


“The CEO of the Voyage Groups has arrived.”
