Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. Xander swept his sharp gaze at the people around him and asked, “If you have done with your inspection, can I wear my clothes?”

The middle-aged man that spoke was Aidan’s father, Mr. Gibson Thompson. He was literally embarrassed by the rude behavior of Aidan. 


The other senior directors of Thompson and Co also apologized to him sincerely. They were all scared that Xander would act against the company. 


Xander began to wear his clothes. His expression was unreadable. 


“Well, now I am eager to know about Charles. Because of him, I have to go through this ordeal.”
