Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. “That means you are not going to the hospital.” 


Abigail could understand how annoyed he was by simply hearing his tone. But she wanted to push him a little so that he could reveal what he was hiding, “You heard me. I will go to the hospital if you answer my questions.” 


Abigail had completely underestimated Xander. He was no less obstinate than she was. If he decided not to tell her, he would never say that no matter how much pressure he was under. Grabbing the sandwich, he began to eat quietly without paying her attention.
