Abigail was pinned on the wall by a strong man, and she felt a sharp pain in her arms. “Let go of me. You are hurting me.” Tears started accumulating in her eyes, but she still stubbornly looked at the man’s eyes in a challenging way.
The man leaned over her. Their faces were inches away, and his hot breathing was fanning on her cheeks. There were many emotions in his deep green eyes which Abigail couldn’t decipher. After a span of silence, Charles opened his mouth and said, “You are not going anywhere. You are now mine; mine to love, and mine to torture.”

Abigail reached Lilian’s place and both Serena and Lilian were delighted to see her. 


Serena hugged her so tightly that Abigail felt as if she was squeezing out her breath, “Oh, my… I am so happy to know that you married Xander. Now you are Mrs. Reid… Huh… You are a lucky girl.” 


“Thank you, aunt. You are squeezing me…” Abigail released her voice with great difficulty. 


Serena let go of her and laughed, rubbing her arms up and down, “I am so excited to see you. Stay here and have lunch with us. We will chat some more about Xander.” She winked at her before going away. 


Abigail wanted to deny her, but she had already left and Lilian threw herself on her, “Oh my God, Abi. I can’t believe that you actually married Xander. I want to know all about him. Let’s go to my room.” 


Lilian grabbed her wrist and brought her into the bedroom. They sat side by side on the bed and Lilian chimed, “How is he? Is he good? Is he caring?”
