BOOK 4: Stolen

Lee advances beside the captain and clears his throat. "Well captain, how have you been?" There was a cocky smile on his lips as his eyes filled with mischief.

"I'm doing good Lee. How about you?" his eyes were on the road, alert for any surprise attacks.

"Well, I'm fine myself, captain. I have been hoarding the village girls now that you have not been joining us at the taverns. The change happened so suddenly, we were all worried. It has been a week, captain," he grins but his eyes say otherwise. He and the other royal knights are worried about their brother in arms, their captain and friend.

He knows it was not just him who has suspected as much, he can see the worry in the other knights' faces whenever someone casually mentions either the captain or the queen.
