Book 4: Rivals

"Oh, how interesting indeed, it seems the scorecard shows half and a half votes from the court. This is the first time in decades that this has happened. Then, on the next challenge the two captains will have to double their efforts," the announcer cheered enthusiastically as the crowd chanted their favorites.

Mary looked at Andrew, hoping he was not saddened by this. She went to him to see how he feels.

"Thank you for your support, my queen. I hope I have not disappointed you," he approached her and kissed the back of her hand.

"Never. You never disappoint me, Captain," she assured him, smiling tenderly at him.

Inu bowed before the crowd, then glanced once again at the queen of Selene. His eyes seemed to be focused on her, he confidently approached the two with a smile on his handsome face.

Mary offered a warm smile to the royal captain of Aurora but her eyes lingered on her love.

"You both did well, I do offer my congratulations to both of you," she said sincerely.
