BOOK 4: Grapevine

"Now that you are finally free, maybe you can finally join us, captain," Lee approached Andrew as the two left the captain.

He smiled warmly at him, truth be told the knights of Selene are like a brotherhood to him. And while he never really enjoyed the knights' frequent visits to the taverns, he couldn't say no to ones he considered his brothers and to whom he has owed his life in numerous battles they have shared.

The two mounted their stallions and stopped at a common tavern. Carlos, one of the knights happily greeted them at the door.

"Carlos, it looks like you are already down to your third glass," Andrew teased him as he glanced at the half-drunk soldier.

"It is true, Captain. We were celebrating your presentation for the tournament," Goyo interposed, laughing at the small banter.

"Well, it wasn't so awe-inspiring, to be honest," Andrew said, still a bit disappointed at the turnout of the first round.

"It was, the masses loved you," Goyo said sincerely.
