Chapter 64 A shocking discovery

Graham came closer and pecked her lips before staring down at her. "You said you wanted us to talk. Rest assured no one will interrupt us here." She felt her heart beat rapidly in her chest. How was she going to start? "Uhm... let's first have breakfast," she said. "Sure. As you wish," he told her. Sitting on the small table, they began eating their breakfast slowly in silence. "I wanted to ask if you know who drugged me yesterday. Or how you knew that I was drugged and came after me," he said. Luna contemplated on telling him the truth. But if she didn't then he would suspect that it might be her because she immediately came after him the moment he left the ballroom. She had no option but to tell him the truth. "I was in the ballroom when I saw your fiancee holding a drink before she dropped a pill in it. After that she...she ....." "Passed it to my mother who gave it to me?" he asked. Luna nodded her head. She didn't want to talk about his mother not knowing how he will take it. She didn't know the relationship between the two. "But their plan backfired on them," he smirked as he said. Luna didn't know what to say. She cleared the table after that and finally it was time to talk to him.

They went back to the bedroom and Luna sat at the edge of the bed and said," I have something really important to talk to you about." "Yes, go on," he said as he sat next to her. She checked in a clutch bag and got out something really important before she started to say, "Two years ago I-" she was interrupted by her phone which rang. On checking who was calling, she saw it was Bella. She would have rejected it but something inside her told her it was important. "Excuse me, I will first answer this." On picking up, she was greeted by Bella's sniffing voice," L-Luna I'm so sorry."

"Bella what's wrong?" she asked. "Luna it's Dylan." "What is wrong with Dylan?" she asked. Graham's face darkened in displeasure when he heard her worrying about another man. Who was that Dylan? He asked himself.

"Luna, Dylan is not well. Come quickly." "Where should I come?" she asked. "Come to Collin international hospital." "Why is he in Collin international hospital? What happened?" But Bella didn't answer. Luna felt her whole world spin. Taking a deep breath she yelled," What happened to my son?" Graham's face was now filled with surprise when he heard her. She had a son? Was she married? His face once again darkened at the thought that she might be married.

After Luna hang up, her eyes were filled with tears as she got her dress and put it on quickly. She got her clutch bag and picked up his car keys that were on the bedside table.

Looking at him she said," Excuse me Mr Cullen I have to leave now." With that, she stormed out of the beach house and all he heard was the sound of the car starting and then leaving. He could only sigh. What happened to her son? For some reason unknown to him, he found her presence comforting and her absence created a hollow gap.

A while later, he decided to dress up and leave the beach house too because it now felt so lonely. He took a mental note to instruct Vikram to investigate her when he reaches his Villa. After dressing up, he picked up his phone which he had switched off since yesterday, watch and as he was looking around, he saw a small black book that had fallen slightly under the bed. He remembered that Luna had taken it out from her bag. Picking it up, he opened it and something on the first page was written saying," MY DIARY. DON'T OPEN IT." He closed it saying it was bad to open someone's diary but something within was telling him to read it. After much contemplation, he decided to read the first page.

From page one, it said,' I'm going to Blue City tomorrow. I have to help my best friend. I'm going to interview the famous Graham Cullen. I just hope all will go well." When he saw his name, the whole thing piqued his curiosity as well as interest and he decided to read the diary. Checking on the date, it was before two years ago meaning before the accident. He sat on the bed comfortably as he began reading.

Page two,' I reached Blue City today. It's as good as they praise it. The hotels are classy and offer good services. I hope to come here again for a vacation with Bella as she promised.'

Page three,' I can't believe myself. I spent the night with Mr Cullen yet I don't regret it even though I know it is wrong and was just a one night stand for him. To me, the night carried precious memories that I will always treasure. I therefore don't regret losing my virginity to a stranger. I know that I don't stand a chance with a person like him given my status but it's never bad to dream. I am going back to SunCity. But oh God! He's so handsome.'

Graham's eyes widened upon reading this. He slept with her already? No wonder everything about her seemed so familiar.

Page four,' I can't believe it. I'm pregnant. I was very confused in the beginning but thanks to Bella, I'm going back to Blue City to inform Graham about this. But will he believe me? Won't he call me a liar? Anyway, whatever he says, I'm keeping my baby. Having a part of him is just enough for me.' After seeing this, his heart beat erratically in his chest. Is this true? If so then, what happened to the baby. He flipped the next page in anticipation.
