In the Cullen mansion, Ciara had not slept the entire night. She wondered what he had done with that woman. Where were they? She called and checked all his Villas and apartments she knew of but he wasn't there.
"Vikram, I know you know where he is. Tell me already," demanded Rebecca. "Mrs Cullen I don't know. I've checked all his residents I know of but he's not there. Maybe he went to a hotel," he said. Vikram clearly knew that he must be at the beach house but he also knew that he didn't want to be disturbed. Ciara's sobs intensified and Rebecca was trying her level best to comfort her. "His phone is off since yesterday. What if that woman did something to him," she said in between her sobs. "Don't worry Ciara. I will make sure that we get her. She must pay for this," Rebecca assured her.
Back to the beach house, Graham was flipping page by page and with every page he read, he became more and more shocked. He read about how she had come to inform him about the pregnancy, how his mother treated her when she went to the hospital, what Vikram told her, how the first trimester affected her, the first time she did an ultrasound accompanied by a man named Ethan, when she checked for the baby's gender, when she did shopping for baby things, how they shifted to a much bigger place and most importantly, how she nearly died when giving birth to her baby, their son.
Page 100,' I have chosen our son's name to be Dylan. Dylan Cullen. I don't know if his papa will like it but he can change it anytime he wants to. He is so cute. He looks just like his papa. We can't wait for him to return to us. It's been long but we are not losing hope.'
As he went on, he finally found his son's first birthday and all the gifts he received. He read the whole book and finished it. He was experiencing a lot of different emotions. Fear, happiness, anger, excitement, nervousness, sadness, betrayal and many others. Then a certain realisation struck him. 'His son was in danger,' he remembered and Immediately switched on his phone before calling Vikram," I want the jet prepared in the next thirty minutes. We are flying to Sun City." He said as soon as he picked up.
"Okay Graham. Well assured," he said and hung up. Ciara immediately ran to him," Where's he?" "I don't know. I just received an order from him," he answered her. "What kind of order? Where did he sleep last night?" she asked. "I don't know Miss Roberts. You call and ask him since his phone is now on," he said before he stormed out of the mansion to make preparations. When Vikram heard that they were flying to Sun City, somewhere he assumed that Graham had found out about the son he never knew.
While in the plane, Luna couldn't control the tears that were flowing from her eyes. If anything happened to her son, she didn't know if she could live. What happened? Had she made a mistake of leaving him behind? The journey seemed longer than usual. She felt like she couldn't breathe.
Finally after what seemed like forever, the plane landed and she immediately got a cab which took her to the hospital. She was running like a mad woman until she caught sight of Bella. With the way she looked at her, she could tell that he wasn't fine. Bella took slow steps on seeing her coming to her in fear of her lashing out on her. When she reached her, she hugged her tightly and resumed sobbing while saying," I'm so sorry Luna. I couldn't take care of him. Am so careless and incompetent." Luna couldn't say anything at this particular time because her brain didn't seem to function properly.
"How is my son Bella?" she whispered. "He's unconscious. Leah just woke up a while ago, she was not as injured as him. She said that he had started crying while asking for you when she decided to take him out and buy ice cream and that's how a car knocked them while they were crossing the road. But it specifically knocked him," said Bella.
Luna's eyes were filled with tears again. "The doctors said that he is under observation but if he worsens, he will need to go through surgery," she said. Luna couldn't believe it. Her two year old son, going under surgery. "Can I see him?" she whispered. "The doctor said that not now," replied Bella and Luna walked towards the bench that was near and slowly sat down. She looked onto the ground and tightly clutched her hair. A lot of things were going on in her mind.
