Chapter 85 The other night?

Not able to interpret anything, Bella decided to go back inside. She will look more into it with Luna.

Laying down beside Graham, Luna asked,"Is there a problem between you and Ethan?"

"No. Why?" he questioned back. "You don't seem to get along."

He sat up and asked," You expect me to get along with someone who loved you?" On hearing this, Luna's eyes widened in surprise.

How did he know this? "Surprised that I know? So tell me Luna, did you like him too?" On asking that, she immediately answered," No!! Why do you say that?"

"I don't know. Did he touch you?" he asked again and she looked at him. He was the one supposed to be questioned not the other way round. When did things turn like this? "No, he never did," she answered straight forwardly.

"Did he kiss you?" he asked and on this, she broke her gaze away looking anywhere but him and he sensed something. She wasn't good at lying. "Did he kiss you or not?" he asked again.

"W-why are you asking such- "Yes or no, Luna?" he demanded and she slowly nodded then saw him narrowing his eyes at her.

"B-but I swear it was only once and it's him who- "Good night Luna," he interrupted before she could explain further and laid down to sleep making his back face her. "Graham please listen to me. He did it only once and that was in the beginning before he fell in love with Bella. But I told him never to do it again and he listened," she explain but Graham didn't say anything. In response, he pulled the duvet and covered his head as if indicating that he wasn't ready to listen. She looked at him not knowing what else to do. Later, she laid down besides him and placed her arm on his waist assuming that he might push her away but he didn't. She snuggled closer and closed her eyes to sleep hoping that he will be fine in the morning.

In the morning, Luna woke up very early and prepared breakfast despite the maids refusing her. She wanted to make it up to him. After carefully laying the dishes on the table, she went to their room to check on him.

She found that he had just come out of the bathroom. "Good morning," she said with a smile and he only nodded. Okay, this was not going to be easy as she had thought but she wasn't going to give up. "Uhm....I made breakfast for you, for us," she said.

"Mm. I'm coming." "Okay. I will wake Dylan," she said before leaving.

During breakfast, Graham's attention was only on Dylan as he made him sit on his lap while feeding him totally ignoring her. She looked at him with a sad face. Luna heard him asking Dylan if he wants to go to the mall which he excitedly accepted. "Are you going somewhere?" she asked trying to fit in the conversation. "Yes," he said. "Can I join you?" she asked hopefully. "If you want."

With that, they left the house together and Luna hoped that things will become better.

During the entire time, he completely ignored her as if she didn't exist. He could only talk to Dylan and all she did was just to follow. Even if she said something, it felt as if he didn't hear her. It was suffocating her. She couldn't take it anymore and decided to talk to him once again," But Graham I said I'm sorry. It was only once I swear and I didn't do anything. Don't ignore me please I can't take it anymore."

Still, he didn't mind her and continued asking Dylan which of the toys that were displayed in the Mall he liked. Frustrated, she said," Graham I said am sorry- "Oh! Luna, long time," a voice interrupted her and on looking, it was Elijah. As if her day was not complicated enough. "Mr Elijah," she said as she forced a small smile. She couldn't behave rudely around him because he had helped her in Blue City when she wanted to sneak into Graham's Ball party even though it wasn't successful. Since Graham was squatting down with Dylan, Elijah hadn't paid attention to him but Graham saw and heard him the moment he called Luna's name and his face darkened in displeasure. "I thought we dropped the formalities Luna," he said. "By the way, I'm sorry for the other night. I didn't get the chance to see you again," he continued. By this, he meant the night of the Ball because he failed to help her enter the hotel but someone else listening to the conversation might misunderstand. Graham's face turned ten shades darker on hearing this. The other night? Which night? He stood up glaring at the man and it was then that Elijah saw him.

"Oh!!!! Mr Cullen? What a surprise!!!" he exclaimed. He didn't expect him to be here. On looking at his eyes, Luna gulped seeing how cold they had become. "And who are you?" he asked coldly. "Elijah Miller. Nice to meet you," he introduced himself. He glared at him for a long while before turning his glare at Luna who held her breath. And after, he got Dylan's hand and left the place. "I'm sorry Mr Elijah I have to go," said Luna before rushing to catch up to them. She was done for.
