Chapter 94 It must be destiny

Ethan couldn't believe that she had passed through all that yet she was still a happy and jolly person. His jaws clenched at the thought of that uncle of hers and took a mental note of looking for him and make him suffer. "You're a very strong woman. How are you able to live so freely and jollily as if you have no worries?" he asked. "Maybe because that's how I am. And not to forget I have you. With you, I feel like I can face anything in the world," she told him. "Surely I will be always here to catch you when you fall. Then when do you meet Luna?" he asked trying to lighten the atmosphere. "After a year of working at Golden times, I shifted and got a two bedroom apartment but then I realized that it would be expensive for me if I stay alone so I needed a roommate. And perhaps I needed company so I made posters and wrote that 'Roommate wanted' before hanging them around. I honestly used to receive many people daily but for some reason I rejected them until Luna came and I accepted her immediately. It must be destiny," she said with a smile. He couldn't agree less. "Yes. What about your boyfriend?" he asked her. "That one. Can you imagine, I traveled all the way to Elfraine to surprise him on his birthday but on reaching, he had a girlfriend and they were even staying together. I was so disappointed," she said.

"I'm glad none of our past relationships worked out because we wouldn't have been here now. Everything happens for a reason and I don't care if I have to go through a thousand heartbreaks just to be with you," he said and her eyes became watery when he said those words. She couldn't agree less with his words. This man was everything she has ever wanted. How can someone be so perfect! "I want to ask you a silly question. But answer me honestly," she said. "Okay." "I know that Alicia is your daughter's mother but on her and me, who do you love more?" she asked.

"I love you Bella, from the bottom of my heart. I only have respect for Alicia because she's my daughter's mother, that's all," he said but she wasn't convinced. "I know that you don't love her now but, when you compare the previous love you had for her and the love you have for me now, which one is greater?" she asked and he chuckled when he understood what she was meaning. She's so childish. "What's funny?" she asked. "Nothing. I can't answer that question because the love I had for Alicia reached the limit and it ended yet the love I feel for you grows and increases every second, minute and everyday. It's incomparable, limitless and infinite if you understand. So, obviously yours is much much greater," he explained and a wide grin formed on her face. This man will be the end of her.

"I love you so much," she uttered. "I love you too," he said before he came and hovered above her and kissed her lips. She opened her lips and welcomed him wholeheartedly. His hand trailed her body until it reached inbetween her legs and massaged her there making her moan in pleasure. He parted her legs before plunging himself inside of her and they resumed their earlier actions.

The next morning as agreed, Mr Howells came with Elena who insisted on escorting him to the grave. The professionals had already arrived and they found them there.

When they got the order, they immediately started the exercise and they were able to extract some of the remains. Carefully sealing them, they were wrapped and they got Mr Howells' blood and hair after which they left to take them to the laboratory.

Going back to the car, he saw Elena who was on phone. After hanging up, she said," Dad, I have to head right now to the company. I will be back." "Is there any problem?" he asked.

"No. Just some important documents need my signature." "Okay then. Let me drop you there," he offered. "No need Dad. I think Mom needs you more. She wasn't well when we left the house. I will take a cab don't worry," she said and he nodded before starting the car.

She also boarded a cab and asked it to go to the direction where the men who were going to the laboratory went to.

Mr Howells went to their bedroom and found his wife laying on bed with her eyes open but she had a distant look. These things had become silent but his mother brought them back. It's not that he didn't want to find out but his wife was the one suffering the most. Her breakfast was untouched. She went back to how she was when they were searching for their daughter.
