Chapter 123 All women were the same

Ciara couldn't believe it. That jerk Vikram must have done it purposely. How foolish of her to believe him. Frustratedly, she clutched her hair as she locked her gaze on the floor. What was she going to do? She was sure that she would never tell him because this is what he wanted to hear. She left the hospital to first think about what she was doing next.

Early in the morning, Ethan woke up and left the hotel to begin his search. He decided to first search in places he expected a new person to visit first. He searched furniture shops, new condominiums, Malls throughout the entire day but he didn't find her and he refused to lose hope. When it turned dark, he walked to his car and drove towards the hotel.

When they halted due to the traffic lights, he leaned his head on the steering wheel in plenty of thoughts. After a while, he raised his head and leaned back on his seat as he stared outside on the streets. Then suddenly, he saw a familiar silhouette passing by and he jerked his head forward. That shoulder length brown hair! He knew he would find her! Quickly, he opened the door and stormed out of the car to meet her. When he reached her, he placed his hands on her shoulders and turned her around saying," Bella, thank God I found- " "What is your problem? Don't touch me," said the woman and Ethan immediately retracted his hands. "I'm so sorry you looked exactly like someone I know. Please forgive me," he apologized. She was not the one and on closer look she was leaner and shorter and not in any way did she resemble Bella. He had started imagining things.

"Hey!! Get your car out of the way. We have things to do!" shouted the man whose car was behind his and he then realized that the traffic lights had given the go signal. He apologized once again and returned to his car before driving off. He couldn't believe that he had started losing his mind.

The next day, he realized that it might be hard for him to search for her alone and he got ten men to help him. He gave them her pictures and they split to find her easily. He didn't want to hang her pictures or make announcements in the media because he thought she might not like it so he had to find other ways.

For a whole week, Ethan's schedule was the same. Waking up to search for her, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday without having a day of rest. Standing outside the hotel balcony, he now agreed to Alex's words that she might not be in Wingston. She might have come here and then proceeded to another destination because he looked everywhere he could think of. But she promised several times that she will never leave him? Then why did she? They would have talked and sorted things out. He would have given her the distance if it is what she wanted but not leaving forever. Perhaps all women were the same. They will all be there for a certain period of time and then leave. Ever since the day she left, he hadn't been able to have proper sleep. He looked up the sky and saw the dark clouds that had formed indicating that it was soon raining. Taking the last sip of wine left in the glass, he went back to his room.

"You search in Elfraine, she might have left Wingston and if we fail to find her there, I will leave her alone," he told Alex over the phone. "Okay, I will do that." With that, Alex called Luna who gave her Bella's former address in Elfraine.

After another week in Wingston, Ethan left for SunCity convinced that Bella was not there.

Back in Blue City, Ciara had decided to have an abortion without telling anyone about the pregnancy. She therefore scheduled a day to talk to her gynecologist about it.

"Are you absolutely sure about this Ciara?" she asked. "Yes, I'm sure. And I trust that you will keep this confidential. I will give you all the money you want but I need to do this as soon as possible." "Okay if you so. We can do this next week," said the doctor and she left after making an appointment with her.

The doctor resumed her work and soon, she heard a knock on the door before someone entered. "Mr Vikram? What a surprise!!," she was indeed surprised because she was not a urologist. "What did Ciara Roberts come here for?" he came straight to the point and she was dumbstruck. Did he think she would tell him? Before she could say anything, he placed a blank cheque on the table and tilted his head to the side as if asking if she will talk.

When Vikram left the hospital, he sat in his car and carefully thought about what he had to do next. And after formulating a master plan, he nodded in approval and drove off leaving the hospital.
