After extensively cleaning up whatever mess she had made from her stay, Camellia relaxed peacefully that night while thinking of a few possible places for her to house her experiment.
'It definitely has to be secluded and far away from people, if it is actually a drug I don't want it to explode and cause a dependence in the town. Maybe that's the first thing I should test. I'll try to go find a corn field or something and sprinkle some on one, maybe dilute it a bit and pour it onto another one... wait... Why haven't I tried diluting it yet?'
She immediately shot up from her bed and grabbed both the bag of powder and the mask-bowl from her inventory, immediately filling it with water and a sprinkle of powder. She then took the wooden scoop she had made in the powder room and started to gently mix it, making sure not to spill any.
She had expected it to either,{
1. Cloud the water;
If it was a drug she believed this was the most possible answer, and would make her further test it on some vegetables tomorrow.
2. Completely dissolve and seem to vanish;
Poison, nope nope nope nope, never touch it! STRAIGHT TO THE PLANTS!
3. Thicken the water;
Corn starch? This would also make her think it was possibly flour. In general this would be the best case scenario!
Too bad for her, that is not the name of the book, and the result was in fact option 2.
'I'm gonna cry... Screw this! I'm going to sleep!'
Angrily rolling over, she pulled a little bit of burlap over her shoulder and almost immediately fell asleep, leaving the bowl of poison only a few feet away from her bed.

"Now what'r we gonna do?! Thanks ta' you now we don' have the farm or position anymore!"
In a dimly lit unknown office like room, a rustic and buff looking older elf-orc could be seen yelling at a somewhat slimmer, but also built looking female figure that calmly sat on the chair that stood on the other side of the desk in front of him.
She seemed to be sitting calmly with her head laying on her palm and her legs crossed as she answered to the anxious and sweating man, whose face was shrouded by the dark lighting.
"You talk so much. Don't worry, this is part of my plan."
"P- plan?"
He couldn't help but ask a question. His situation seemed dire, yet here she simply slowly stood up, looking out of the dramatic window, into the dark, star-less night.
"Zeph recently brought in a new child, have you heard of this?"
"Y- yes? I think I did, but what bout' it?"
"He also recently lost his matured flame around the same time."
Slightly turning around, she grabbed a paper that was sitting on the desk and simply lifted it to her face, continuing on with a sweet, calm and seductive voice.
"She also just so happened to go missing at the exact same time as the flame's disappearance. She was an underdeveloped beast-kin, yet we all felt a monster's presence in the village. And again it was at the same time as the flame's disappearance."
"So.. She stole his fire yea? What about it? You sayin' we should catch er and use her to fill the quota or sum'?"
Glancing back out the window, without moving, she answered him as simply as she could.
"Not too long after all those events, the Pigken dies, fruit goes missing, wood scraps disappear along with burlap. Then the Rabolph dies with more missing fruit. At the funeral there was a cleanly cut hole in the glass to our office, you had a few of your dresses missing and there was more cleanly cut wood missing from the powder room with another, even more cleanly cut, hole in the window."
She once again turns towards him, putting the paper back down, then walking directly towards him. It was only then that the light could catch her whole face, as she towered over the anxious man. They were both tall, yet she still managed to look down at him, with her slim fit one-legged green dress only making her look taller.
The man leaned back and pushed out a seemingly rushed response.
"S- So she did all that! Haha, but then what? Should we catch er and make Zeph work ta' make up for er debt?"
"*Sigh* So many questions..."
Leaving more towards him, placing her finger on his chin she said something shocking with a piercingly sharp, smooth and elegant tone.
"There's a rat in your farm yet you sit here unaware and complacent. We catch her first, Then... Well, if she could do all this then we could easily-"

'Early bird gets the worm!'
-Some Shithead a long time ago on earth
'GETS THE WORM, MY ASS! These bastards have been hanging around every morning, every noon, afternoon, hell, EVEN AT NIGHT!! I wanted to go out and test how boom-boomy this poison is, but OH BOY am I close to just drinking it!'
WHO SAID I WAS JOKING!?
***I would comment, but Author-nim said I can't
'Whatever! I'm sick of being stuck in this place, I was gonna go test it TWO DAYS AGO! To make things worse, it looks like they actually have started searching the barns at night too. Shouldn't take long before they get to mine.'
*Sigh*
'Oh right, how's that coming along by the way?'
'Oh, nice, THANKS FOR MAKING ME ASK!'
"Fuck this, I'm out!"
Having had enough of the busy atmosphere, she made a calm approach to leaving and snuck out the front door...
*Ahem* sorry, there was an error on the script Camellia gave me... here, uhh... Which line was I on? 1...3... 7, right.
She 'Grabbed (her) shit' then hastily changed into the black dress, or as she called it, '(her) mortal drafty prison.' She then ran up to the window and cut a... nono sorry, she 'Kicked that shit in' Then jumped out, landing into a hay barrel she had placed there before hand. She then hopped out while 'awesomely' putting on her new mask before running away...
***My, a really classy, calm and collected character you have here author-nim
Shut it.
***Yes sir.
After hearing a loud crashing noise followed by a thump, the group of ten or so orc-elves who were around the area quickly ran to the scene. Camellia barely made it out of there before they had arrived at the barrel of hay.
'Holy shit that was awesome! HAHA, I'm SOOO like an action hero! I take back what I said about this body, Miss Mona, I can kick down glass, scale walls and land from the second story of a barn without even feeling too much pain!'
'Oooh~ cool! Ok, now that I'm out I'll look for a field that I can hide in then dump this poison bowl on it to see it's effects.'
Running along the bushes and buildings, she had passed multiple fields, but all of them either were guarded, had people in them or weren't grown in enough for her to be able to tell if the plants would die from it.
The bowl that she had left out had dried overnight and ended up becoming something close to soap, which had given her a new sense of hope. There was a chance that this powder was actually ammonium chloride, which is both a type of fertilizer and a main ingredient used when making soap!
'It'd make sense for them to have a bunch of fertilizer, but how? I'm pretty sure this stuff is either made from grinding down clam shells, fish bones, coal piles or like volcanoes or something. But they can't burn their wood, I never saw any fish in that river from before and I doubt there's a volcano in these flat lands...'
...
'I swear you don't tell me shit on purpose...'
You…!
