Good> Impossible> Manageable

"Are you trying to tell me that you made this weapon without designing it beforehand?"

"Y- yes? I designed it during the competition, after I dropped the handle sir. Before that it was meant to be a whip-like sword, not a arm guard hybrid."

Deafening silence. No one dared make a sound for what seemed like forever, for the nth time today.

"Once again. You said you made that weapon without planning beforehand. That only you can use it. And that even if we could use it, you doubt we would be able to use it to the fullest potential?"

Lightly nodding her head, she then lowered it into a bow while adding to what he had said.

"Correct, though I am able to give ownership over to another, it would only serve to weaken the weapon overall. I hadn't planned to make the weapon this way, but in order to stay on time after breaking the handle, I had to improvise."

Raising her claw in front of her face, Urumi unsheathed onto the floor, and wrapped around her feet, creating a small ring of black flames where she stood, causing the announcer to take a few steps back.

"I made this claw as well using only rusted metals and a singular animal's beak. It isn't even complete yet I used it to make this high grade weapon as well. I hoped instead of making a weapon for the humans today, instead I could show my worth despite the mistake I had made."

She retracted the weapon and lowered the claw to her stomach, bowing as she pulled the apron up, much like you would see British royals bow in older style shows. Which took Lord Eric slightly aback.

"I am simply not used to making 'redprints,' and instead envision the final product instead. I hope with this new information, you can forgive my improvisation and instead judge me based on the quality of the weapon itself, and the future weapons I could make for you all."

Standing for a second longer while looking down at the promising girl in front of her, he seemed lost in thought. Bringing his hand to his chin, he closed his eyes before reopening them and pointing at his chair while walking away from the balcony's edge.

"There is no way any of those other savages could match the quality of your tool or weapon. Bring her and a extra chair for her to use here next to mine. You don't need to compete in any of the other competitions, however we shall move on with them anyways."

Growing nervous, Zeph, Maki and Yoru all began to sweat in nervousness. Not only is Camellia needed to be far away from Lord Eric for certain parts of the plan... But she's also not the brightest, tends to get distracted easily, is mouthy, bad with authority.... uh... well and more?

"Do I have to?"

This... this is what was meant by 'more'

'DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?! DO YOU WANT TO KILL US ALL YOU STUPID KID!?'

Maki's head was running around in circles trying to find a way to keep her from being forced to his side, a way to properly fix the issues at hand to make sure the plan goes to plan! Just for her to... Oh lord, this is our MC huh...

"Pardon me?"

Turning around, Lord Eric raised but an eyebrow as he glared down at her from over his shoulder, his longer hair and armor shoulder pad making his eye barely visible.

"Well, I look young and all you know? How can I be so sure you aren't a pervert?"

"You're brave for a half breed. You're still a Savage after all."

'H- half breed...'

"You interest me however. I'll give you 1 condition you can add to you being by my side for the rest of the trip."

"Eh?"

The entire crowd was shocked at what had just been said. To the elves, they were practically half dead with tongues sticking out of their mouths and souls leaving their bodies with all the things this young lady was doing. Yet the ones that could still think straight had their last braincell exploded after hearing the Lord Eric, hater of all elves, give her a chance and a condition she could choose herself...

Then the human crowd was almost just as shocked to learn of her status. She was a half breed. To be considered neither fully 'savage' nor fully human, or whatever other 'disgusting part of nature' she was. (***rude)

"Well that was rude."

'DEATH WISH! SHE HAS A DEATH WISH! IN A CAGE MY ASS!'

Maki now joined the pile of half dead elves as she also seemingly collapsed onto the balcony railing with a her had nearly crushing her elegant and beautiful face into a more distorted and crushed one.

"Hm, I suppose announcing something like that could be seen as rude to someone like you, my regards."

'Was that supposed to be an apology?'

~Processing...

Answer: Believe maybe so

~

'Thanks Libbo'

~You're welcome master~

'DID HE JUST APOLOGIZE TO HER!?'

"Alright then, my condition is to have him accompany me at all times."

Pointing at Zeph, the large man that stood at the base of the platform's stairs with a sword covered in fabric in his hands, ready to present his own creation, he nervously bowed upon having Lord Eric's attention suddenly brought to him.

"Hm... I already have two of your strongest Savage guards with me, is there a reason you want him specifically?"

Nodding her head, she stared directly into his eyes with certainty on her face.

"I trust him."

"Hmm... Alright, I suppose that's alright. Lady, he'll be replacing you, leave us at once after bringing the chair."

Fixing her posture, Maki quickly nodded her head before formally addressing her exit to him and scurrying out of the room while maintaining her elegance.

'Th- that brat... How does she always manage to turn Good situations, into shitty situations, into barely manageable ones!?'

Stomping her foot in the hallway, the tall woman could be seen throwing a small tantrum from frustration, letting out all the stress that had just been built up to the maximum by the girl. Noticing a human soldier judging her as he walked past, she quickly crushed his head before patting down her dress, fixing her hair, reapplying what little makeup the elves had, clean her hand with a napkin and put on a glove then taking a deep breath while dragging the body away to get a chair.

*Clop clop clop*

Horses walked through a field while pulling carriages. bright green grass with not a single tree in sight, the field seemed endless, with a somewhat large group of people passing through it, sun could be seen turning into shade as clouds rolled over their heads.

"Man~ Sure is getting cloudy! Wonder if it'll rain!"

;What do you mean you wonder? Can't you tell?;

"Hm~? How am I supposed to know for certain if it'll rain or not? I'm not some God you know..."

Sitting inside of a carriage with no roof, a blue haired man laid back with his feet propped up, admiring the scenery as he.. spoke to himself? The people around him seemed somewhat used to it, but it doesn't change the fact they they thought it was weird as well.

;Yes, yes you are;

"Hm? Oh right, guess so huh? Haha guess I'll try to know if it'll rain then!"

Sitting up straight, he put his fingers to his temples and made a constipated face while grunting and groaning, causing the voice he was talking to to become obviously nervous.

;N- not like that you damn idiot! Just like... Feel~ it yknow?;

"Fee~l it? ok."

Sitting up straight, he clamped his hands together as lightning arched between his hands and up his shoulders, eventually causing his hair to lightly lift with the static charge.

;Mm, there ya go! That's more like it my Successor!;

"Rain. Rain, rain. Rain? It'll rain? Surely! yep! mhm!"

Suddenly the sky grew darker as lightning could be seen lightly arching from his hair up towards the sky, and from cloud to cloud.

;NOT LIKE THAT! I TAKE IT BACK! BAD! BAD SUCCESSOR!;

*CLASH! CRACK!*

A large blue bolt of lightning struck the carriage where the man stood, causing all the horses and men to jump back in fear, observing the now wrecked cart from a distance as the clouds shot far away and cleared the sky above them.

"He- there's no way someone can survive that kind of thing right?"

"I don't know.."

Talking between each other, the humans all seemed concerned and confused, slowly approaching the cart before.

"Aww~ It didn't rain! Ah- I'm good! Just out of mana! D-you guys mind if we rest up real quick?!"

The blue haired man stood up completely fine from the wreckage, in fact... he seemed like it was fun? Just what is going on with this character?!
