Urumi

With her arm still sat in the water, Camellia's pink lips stretched as she grew a wide grin. Her weapon had been finished at last.

'I shall name my new weapon Urumi!'

*--Urumi is a sword with a flexible, whip-like blade, originating in modern-day Kerala in the Indian subcontinent.

First weapon completed!

Grade: Exceptional!

Appearance: Moderate arm guard, Exquisite blade

Name: Urumi

Infused Attributes: Black Flames(C+), Water(F)

Description:

It is a fire infused blade that can be extended and controlled by feeding thread through the hollow inside which connects the multiple metal pieces holding the tail together like a spine.

Bonuses:

Tempered like a master! -With the fire tempered and infused metal, it acts as an excellent insulator, causing the thread inside to combust much MUCH later than normal!

Extended Magazine! -As this weapon uses thread to extend, with the permission of Miss Mona, it can directly pull thread from you personal soul space* to use as fuel!(*Also known as 'inventory')

Retractable! -This weapon is too long! Therefore when you retract it, it's size and total volume will seem to shrink to barely nothing! Allowing it to be easily stored on your arm and changed to the desired length. (Usability +, Weight lowers or raises based on the current size of the weapon. Weapon has a maximum length.)

'Good material' -This weapon was made with material that completely outshines anything previously used or seen! This terribly skewed perception of quality has given a buff to the final product! (Bonus sharpness and durability)

First completed weapon as a Blacksmith! -Though having your footprint left behind on a few weapon's productions before, this is your first completed work! This weapon will be brought with you and passed down for generations as your pride and joy! (Rust proof, Repair cost halved, Resistant to corrosion, This weapon only gains its bonuses when used by those whom this weapon has been entrusted to, can level and evolve in strength along side its creator!)

"Holy... fuck?"

'Uh... n- no maybe not? Um... hold on still coming to terms with it all...'

"The first competitor is finished! Would you please come to the podium and demonstrate your weapon to us all! Tell us about it's uniqueness and why you should win!"

As the Announcer stood on a podium stationed for Lord Eric and the humans to get a better look at the forged creations, he called out to dazed girl who seemed to stare blankly into the barrel of water with a confused, yet astounded face... But to no prevail?

"M- miss..?"

*BANG!*

Once again the young man managed to snap Camellia from her daze, causing her to rush to the podium, finally revealing her weapon as she pulled it out from the barrel.

***What an MVP that kid is, seriously...

Pulling her arm from the barrel, a long spine like blade made up of sharp curved triangles quickly began retracting as its length. It seemed to disappear onto the brace on her arm until the tip of the blade was barely long enough to poke past her knuckles, yet it was still flexible enough to still let her bend her wrist at will.

"It- It just retracted! It's length and weight seemed to completely change! Amazing!"

The announcer, being both happy with his job and being part of the plan, managed to fully pull the Human audience's attention directly to him.

"It... it truly is a dungeon level weapon!"

Dumbfounding Lord Eric, Yoru noticed just how attentive he and Maki were of the tournament.

'He's open... Do I..? The plan is open, and honestly I'm not sure it would work against him... if he's this open...'

Peaking back, Maki could tell with a glance what he was thinking of and decided to break his bloodlust by reaching out to him, much like the young man was meant to snap Camellia out of her dazes.

"Yoru! Quick, come look at what she's managed to make! Truly incredible!"

Incredible it was! Walking onto stage, she extended the blade to the length of a small sword that was equipped above the wrist! She then swung her arm while weaving a bit of thread which caused the blade's spine to split and swing like a whip with black fire erupting in its path.

'eh?! I thought it said my threads wouldn't combust!'

'I... I see, so when it's spine separates and I use it's special physical property, it'll spit a bit of fire?'

~~

Correct, Answer: Fuel for "Urumi" is thread.

The more high quality thread it is fed, the more pure the flames are and the longer it can spit flames using mana as a catalyst.

~~

'Whoa...'

Hearing the human's erupt in chatter as they seemed to cheer in drunken slurs of their words, one of the few sober royals, Lord Eric clearly asked Camellia a question, shocking her from testing her weapon.

"That weapon. Only you can use it, is that right?!"

Sending shivers down the spines of all elves in the arena, even the drunken humans seemed to have quieted down slightly.

"You are aware that this competition was put in place for you Savages to make weapons for us humans right? Why else would we bother giving you animals quality material like this?"

His furrowed brows glared into her sparkling eyes as a cloud flew above them, bringing shade above her head, blocking the sun from her brown-pink pupils.

'How could he tell?'

'Damn, I see.. What level would this weapon be considered to a human like him?'

Demoness...

Guess I'll have to figure this out myself then, talking my way out of tight situations is my forte luckily, so let's see!

"That's correct, for now only I can wear and use it without it attacking the host. I also can't really see anyone else other than me being able to use it to it's fullest ability."

"Wh-"

{Dumb}

[I shall get the shovel for her grave]

-The brain finishes growing and developing around the age of 24. This twerp makes me second guess that fact-

"WHAT?!"

The entire stadium, both human and elf scream out their concern as she seems to have said the stupidest thing possible right to his face while staring him in the eyes.

"Oh? Yet you decided to make that weapon here for US today? Why not choose a different redprint?"

"Redprint?"

Tilting her head, she furrowed her brows, almost like a dog would when asking for a treat, all while repeating the word back to him.

"Cami..."

Causing Zeph to facepalm upon hearing what she's said.

'M- mona?'

'Y- yes..?'

'H- haven't I said blueprint before though?! And Zeph has said it to me before too right?!'

'I... oh man...'

As her cheeks grew pink, she lowered her her head a bit in shame, realizing she is living up to her new (***DISGUSTING) loli body's reputation by being adorable(***As in doing things a kid would do! Because she looks like a kid! God I hate lolis...)
