Robbery and Batman

"EVERYBODY ON THE GROUND... NOW!!!"

The yell attracted everyone in the restaurants attention to the source of the sound.

Standing there was a group of five people dressed in all black wearing clown masks with rifles in their hands.

Everybody didn't react initially and just sat in their seats stunned before one of the robbers pointed his gun at the crowd and yelled "MOVE IT, ON THE GROUND WITH YOUR HANDS ON YOUR HEAD"

That immediately got people out of their daze and moving. People immediately started screaming and panicking while the smarter ones complied and laid down.

Drystan on the other hand got up and helped Barbara onto the ground so that attention wouldn't be brought to her later. Afterall a pretty girl in a wheelchair would really stand out when everyone else is on the ground.

After laying her down he whispered to her "If the robbers come over here keep your head down so that they can't get a good look at you, these people are criminals and we don't know where they draw the line so it's better not to attract attention."

She looked at him clearly confused at how calm he was while being robbed. But she couldn't really question him given the current situation and looked down visibly frustrated at how helpless she is.

The robbers got everyone on the ground on the ground and quite before one of them announced "Alright, now we are going to go around one person at a time and collect your phones and valuables. If anyone does anything suspicious we will shoot, so stay down and be obedient."

This clearly wasn't the robbers first time doing something like this as the were too calm and too organized.

"Be logical about this, if you can afford to eat here then what you have on you is hardly worth risking your life for." he said.

Kyler thought it was very smart for them to say this as everyone that could eat here was considered very rich as their bill would cost over a thousand dollars.

Nobody that could spend thousands on a meal would risk their life for their watch or phone because they could just buy a new one later.

This was until after collecting valuables from a few people they hit one that was carrying an object with sentimental value rather than just rather than just a monetary one.

"No! This necklace was my grandmothers!" yelled the woman that was currently being robbed holding on to her necklace while one of them was trying to pry it out of her hands.

A second robber came up behind her and put the barrel of his gun on the back or her head and said "This is your last chance to let go before your brains paint the ground." in an eerily calm voice that was clearly willing to do so.

This made Drystan curious to the robbers past as very few people can kill without being affected by their emotions.

Most killers would either be exited, nervous, or even regretful at the thought of killing someone innocent.

The woman didn't seem to care though as she still refused to let go of her necklace even as tears were falling from her eyes and she was begging for mercy.

Then he saw the lead robber shake his head and sigh before motioning for the second robber to pull the trigger.

Before he got the chance however the lights suddenly went out and Drystan saw a shadowy figure drop down behind one of the robbers.

The figure proceeded to grab that robber and grapple up towards the ceiling with him silently without alerting the other robbers.

Drystan had been waiting for him to make his appearance.

This was the reason that Drystan didn't summon one of his clones to 'save' him.

He had heard from the manager that he couldn't book the entire place because the owner had made plans here this evening.

But according to his investigation the Ocelot was owned by Bruce Wayne, A.K.A. Batman.

Even if he didn't know much about Dc, almost everybody in his past life knew Batman was Bruce Wayne.

So he wasn't worried about the robbers causing him to much of an issue as he knew that Batman was already here.

Batman took a second guy out the same way he got the first one before the robbers realized that they had two missing.

The leader of the robbers Yelled "Group up, a Bat is here!"

After his warning the two other remaining robbers got close to him and they stood back to back to back looking around vigilantly.

Unfortunately for them the bat dropped down right on top of them, immediately incapacitating one before kicking the leader out of the way so that he could quickly take out the fourth robber.

The leader took the sudden distance between him and Batman as an opportunity to take the person closest to where he landed hostage.

Sadly for Drystan, and even more sadly for the robber, that was Drystan.

So by the time Batman finished subduing the fourth guy and turned around the leader had me on my feet with his gun to my head.

"Listen here Bat, I am going to walk out of here with my team and you are going to let us go or else i'll put a bullet in this pretty boys head"

The poor robber barely finished his sentence before Drystan jerked his head back headbutting the guy before diving to the ground giving batman an opportunity to take care of the robber without having him in the way.

He was flattered that the robber called him pretty but he couldn't allow himself to be taken hostage like that now could he.

Afterall even if he couldn't go and ninja assassin on the poor guy, he didn't want the justice league to think he's weak or timid when they come asking for help.

Barbara looked at him in shock not believing that he had the guts to headbutt the robber so suddenly. "what?" Drystan said.

"You're not the only one that's learned self defense. Afterall i'm a wealthy man, I was being taught how to deal with this sort of thing when I still still in diapers" he said to add to his backstory.

The previous him never learned self defense but it would be hard for anyone to prove otherwise as he had never been in a fight before.

After Batman tied up the criminals and disappeared the police arrived and took everyones statements before letting us all go on with our days.
